Kutumb curses Indira for insulting their family by lodging a FIR against Sameer. Kutumb fears that the media will keep questioning them about the case. At that time, Indira receives a call from a certain advocate Pankaj Bharadwaj. She is surprised when Pankaj volunteers to help her fight against Sameer. On enquiring, Indira learns that Pankaj wanted to fight the case in order to gain publicity for his firm. Indira gets angry when Pankaj states that it would be difficult to get Sameer punished for the crime but he would help Mandira get good compensation from Sameer. Indira refuses to accept Pankaj’s help and asks him not to call her up in the future. Rishi brings Indira to meet advocate Rani Bhatija, who was his Law teacher. Indira narrates to Rani about Mandira’s case. Rani is shocked on learning that the accused was none other than noted builder, Sameer Diwan. Indira requests Rani to help her prove Sameer guilty and give justice to Mandira. Rani tries to pacify Indira and agrees to help her fight against Sameer. She asks Indira to meet her in the court the following day during the trail. Next morning, when Indira comes to the court along with Mandira, the media tries to question Mandira but Indira does not allow them. Kutumb, Inder, Sunaina and Rishi too accompany Mandira to the court. In the courtroom, Indira gets worried as Rani had not arrived on time. Meanwhile, Sameer arrives with Simi. When the proceeding starts Rani arrives. Rishi and Indira are taken aback when Rani announces that she would be representing Sameer Diwan.

Indira gets worried when she notices Rishi leaving from the courtroom. When the proceeding starts, Rani tries to prove Sameer innocent. When the judge questions Indira about her lawyer, Rani intervenes and requests the judge to give another date for the proceeding as Indira has not yet hired a lawyer. The court adjourns until Indira managed to hire a lawyer to fight against Sameer. At that time Rishi arrives. Everybody gets surprised to see Rishi donning a lawyer’s attire. Rishi states that he would represent Mandira to fight against Sameer. Rishi requests the judge to give him sometime to submit his documents. Kutumb fears that Rishi would not be able to prove Sameer guilty. She shares her worries with Indira. Indira pacifies Kutumb and asserts that she trusts Rishi and that he would be able to give justice to Mandira. Indira gets shocked on learning that Radhey would be helping Rishi in the case. When the proceeding starts again, Rani claims that Mandira was in need of money and so she tried her best to woo Sameer. She adds that when Mandira’s efforts went in vain, she falsely accused Sameer of raping her. Rishi objects Rani’s claims and requests Mandira to come to the witness box.

Rishi calls Mandira in the witness box during the proceeding and questions her about the incident wherein Sameer had raped her. When Rishi asks Mandira to reveal about the accused, she points out to Sameer. Rishi presents some evidence against Sameer. He also shows the photographs which the police had clicked while inspecting the room, where Mandira was raped. Rishi tries to prove Sameer guilty and claims that he had raped Mandira. He requests the judge to punish Sameer for his crime. Indira gets furious when Rani questions Mandira about the incident wherein she had got intimate with Sameer. Mandira had planned to compel Rishi to get married to him and so she had decided to get intimate with him. Mandira, who was waiting for Rishi in Indira’s room, had got intimate with Sameer as she believed him to be Rishi. When Mandira feels awkward to answer, Rani asks Sameer to throw light on the incident. Sameer confesses that he had got intimate with Mandira but only with her consent. He adds that he has never forced Mandira to have physical relationship with him. After Sameer’s confession, Rani claims that Mandira was trying to woo Sameer for the sake of money. She adds that when Mandira’s efforts went in vain, she falsely accused Sameer of raping her. Rishi objects Rani’s claims and asks her to show evidence against Mandira. Rani further claims that Mandira had an affair with Sameer and so they got intimate. She also decides to show evidence to prove her claims. Before Rani could show the evidence, the judge adjourns the court. When the Sharma family returns home, Rishi requests Mandira to reveal the truth as it would be helpful for him to fight against Rani.
