Wednesday Update on Begusarai Sept 19

Lakhan is about to fire the dead body Bindya comes and screams Priyom’s name. She comes running and sees his dead body. Rest of the women come as well. Bindya is crying. Choti amma says please handle yourself. Who could stop whats written in the fate. Bindya recalls Mitlesh accepting that it was his bullet. She stands up and pours water on herself. Everyone is dazed and crying. Bindya says I Bindya Priyom Thakur swear on this fire that I will get my husband’s murderer punished. Unless he gets justice I wont sit with peace.

Baid amma goes to stop her. Poonam says no don’t stop her this will give her peace. You should go I will bring Bindya with me. Badi amaa asks everyone to come with her.
Its dark, Bindya is still standing in front of the fire. She recalls Priyom saying your love is my protection. She sits down there.

Next morning, Bindya priyom and lakhan are stil l there. Badi amma comes with mitlesh and bhushan. Pandit ji asks mitlesh to put the ashes in pot. Bindya says stop. She takes the pot from him and shoves him. Bindya says don’t dare touching my priyom. Badi amma says I know your pain. But.. Bindya says no but. This man wont touch my priyom. Bhushan says according ritual father or brother has to do this. Bindya says i don’t care. Unless I am alive this man wont touch priyom. Badi amma says lets go mitlesh.

Everyone is crying in the house. Bindya comes in. Bindya says this is not mistake. This is murder. Mitlesh says Bindya I want to tell you something. Bindya ignores him and goes to badi amma. she says I heard thakur family never does injustice. I want justice too. You know my pain. I want to punish my husband’s murderer. And I swear unless he gets justice I wont pour the ashed in ganga. Badi amma says Bindya.. Bindya says we all know Mitlesh was insecure of Priyom. He wanted to be bahu bali and couldn’t so he killed my husband. We wall know this and think this is mistake. no this is not. And this is the rule of thakur’s. Fire for fire and blood for blood. Mitlesh comes to Bindya’s room. He says I wanna talk to you and you have to listen. he says i know your pain I know that you loved Priyom. And so did he. But Its neither easy for me. You came in his life now but I saw him growing up. I had reservations on bahu bali thing. But there is a difference between hate and reservations. How can you imagine I could do this with him. Mitlesh comes downstairs and tells badi amma that bindya is nowhere.
Badi amma says go find her.

Bindya is on her way out. Poonam stops her. Bindya says let me go. You were there as well and you didn’t say anything. they say mitlesh made a mistake. His mistake ended my world. I wont forgive him. I dont care if someone is with me. I wont sit down unless my husband gets justice. Don’t try to stop me. he was your friend.

Rekha locks Lakhan and says I have to go find Bindya. Rekha says you can’t help her fate yours. I know where she is. Lakhan says what? Tell everyone. she says why? I know she has gone to police station. Priyom is dead. And Mitlesh is going to to jail. Lakhan says then what? she says dont you see? No one is left here to sit on Phulan’s spot. badi amma is sitting in front of Priyom’s picture. she says i woud give my life if that brought you back. I cant lose another son. I cant send mitlesh to jail. Bindya is not right. Maya says he lost his mind to seek revenge from khera and we lost priyom. Now Bindya is doing the same. We can’t burn everything in fire on vengeance. Poonam says could you forgive the person responsible for death of your husband? She has lost her husband. Tell me what should she do? And what would you do if you were in her shoes.
Poonam says choti amma you tell what should poonam do? Everyone is quite. Poonam says who are we to decide justice. If she wants law’s help then be it. I want to just say that at this time you should be with her. Lakhan says in heart I will be on your side, I promise.
In police station, cops also mock at bindya.
Bindya says to inspector I have to file a petition FIR. My husband priyom thakur was killed last night by mitlesh thakur and he confessed that. You have file an FIR. He says okay. its sensitive. I have to tell comissioner.
He calls badi amma and says you daughter in law wants to file an FIR against mitlesh thakur. Badi amma hangs up.
Inpsector says you have any proofs? Bindya says why is it needed when he accepted it. He says this doesn’t happen. We work on proofs. Bindya says you would do that. He says we have other work to do. I want to give you a suggestion. Forget all this. Thakur has a lot of money. One has died you can shot another one. they have a lot of money. Bindya says so you are sold out? Bindya says you would arrest me I would lock up myself. she goes in jail. He says you dont know police’s power. She says you don’t know woman’s power. Bindya says i wotn go from here unless you lodge my FIR. She sits in the lock up. Bindya says I wont eat either. I will sit here and get Mitlesh punished. If I have to give my life for that I will.
Constable says do something or the feminist would come. This would risk our jobs.
Inspector says bindya ji please you can’t do this. I request you please go from here. She says then write the FIR. He says you know its not possible. She says because you’re bribed? I am not. I will do anything for my dead husband. I will go from here when Mitlesh is punished. Or you will take out my deadbody from here.

Badi amma gets to know it. She says maya lets go we have to bring bindya. lakhan tells Poonam and says badi ama is going to police station. Poonam says doing this wont make me forgive you or bring me back in your life. He says I dont want that. Anything can happen but you can never get senses. I didn’t come here to impress you. Mitlesh gets a call from inspector. He tells her that Bindya is there and she is blaming Mitlesh of the murder. Milteh says i will call you in a while. Dada ji says till I am alive nothing will happen. You will win. Mitlesh leaves.

Badi amma comes to police station. She says come with us home. I know what you re going through. Bindya says you don’t feel anything. Maya says we have all lost priyom. If you cant then I will. she announces you bahu bali is daed and mitlesh killed him. He has bought the inspector as well. But i will fight till the end, and till then I will sit ehre and do hunger strike. Mitlesh says done? he leaves. Inspector says to badi amma i dont think bindya would listen. Badi amma says you still have time bindya, She leaves as well. Bindya is crying there alone. Poonam comes to her.
