Later, when Kabir suggests to Qazi about getting Alina married, he responds that Salamat might have already spread the news about Alina’s marriage. Hence, they must wait for some time.

Kabir takes the fake marriage certificate from Aamir and tears it. Further, he asks Aamir to submit a divorce application at the Sharia Board. Zeenat comes to Alina’s room with the intention to steal the marriage certificate. Zara bumps into Aamir and apologises for what transpired at the Ahmed house.

Alina meets Kabir and reveals that she wants to marry Aamir. Ayesha meets Zara and chides her for supporting Alina. Zeenat chimes in and says that Zara is doing it only to cover up for the fake marriage certificate prepared by Qazi.

Alina reaches the location where the messenger had asked her to come, she doesn’t find Aamir. She calls up Aamir who then reveals that he never messaged her.  Kabir calls up Asad and tells him that Anas and Alina’s marriage should take place within the next two days.

Later, Zeenat gets invitation cards printed for Aamir and Alina’s ‘walima’. Zara tells Kabir that she will leave no stone unturned to helping Alina marry Aamir.   Zeenat shares with Salamat how she turned Ayesha against Zara by sending a fake message to Alina. Zara explains to the family members how Alina has been constantly put under pressure by everyone to give in to their request of her marrying Anas.

Kabir arrives and, based on a tip-off from his informer, states that the fake message was sent by Zara. Zara calls up Aamir and asks him to not submit the divorce application. Before she can explain any further, because of a network error, the call gets cross-connected and he gets a call from Kabir. A disheartened Alina arrives to complete the wedding rituals with Anas. Next, Zara slaps Zeenat, and reveals her plan, leaving everyone stunned!

Kashan gets perplexed when he sees Aamir next to Alina as the groom. Zeenat’s phone buzzes with Salamat’s call. Zara picks up the call and puts it on speaker for everyone to hear. Salamat, assuming that he is speaking to Zeenat, blurts out how Zeenat was behind all the plans. Later, Zara gets a call from Salma informing that her uncle is no more.

Kabir gets a call from the inspector informing him that Sameer and Salamat have escaped from the lockup.   Sameer calls up Zeenat and threatens to kidnap Rukhsar if the police are not stopped from pursuing them. Kabir is officially handed over the post of Shehar Qazi. When Suraiya comes to know that Kabir has been made ‘Sheher Qazi’, she expresses her annoyance about it.

At the Ahmed house, Aamir breaks down on hearing the news that his best friend got killed in the bombing.   Upon Kabir’s request, Qazi agrees to return to Lucknow to add the clause. Rizwan informs Qazi and Suraiya that he has been transferred to Lucknow.

At the Sharia Board office, Kabir asks Khalid to vacate Sharia Board’s house. An unknown woman films Zeenat talking to Salamat over call.  In a major shock to Zeenat, Rizwan reveals her conspiracy to the family members- how she bribed Khalid to resign.

Episode 143

Rizwan says that Zeenat’s actions are driven by a mental disorder.   Later, Kabir asks Rizwan why he doesn’t want to be a member of the Sharia Board. The Sharia Board members show Kabir a video which has been spread by Khalid to turn people against Kabir.

Afterwards, the angry mob starts pelting stones at the Ahmeds’ house.  Kabir announces that Rizwan is the one who actually deserves to be the member of Sharia Board. At the mosque, Kabir sees a man crying profusely. On Kabir’s insistence, the man, Bilal, reveals that since the day he got married to Kausar, his life has been made a living hell by her.

Zara tells Kabir that Bilal had cooked up a false story to gain his sympathy.  Zara reaches the ghetto and meets some women. She tells them that she is doing a campaign wherein she wants to give women complete freedom.  Zara adds that she envisions a society where women will control their husbands. Later, Kausar enters the Sharia Board office and Kabir is shocked to see her.

Zara begins the case by calling Bilal an irresponsible husband and father. Rizwan defends Bilal and provides proofs towards the same as well.  After the proceedings are adjourned for the day, Rizwan gets Zara’s and Kabir’s opposing views towards the Kausar-Bilal case recorded. Though he wanted to discredit Kabir, the opposite happens as people speak up in support of him.

In the next hearing, Zara produces evidence which suggests that Bilal has donated money in the recent past.  Kabir supports Zara’s argument and blames Bilal of having committed the sin of mistrusting his wife. With a new trick up his sleeve, Rizwan suggests Kabir to take Zara out for a meal after the hearing is adjourned.

Later, Rizwan and Suraiya implement their next plan, due to which riots over Kabir and Zara’s actions break out in the entire city.  Rizwan reveals his nefarious   plans against Qazi to Suraiya.

Due to the escalating riots, Qazi agrees to remove Kabir from the post of ‘Sheher Qazi’. Shahbaz blames Zara for disgracing them and for Kabir’s imminent dismissal as ‘Sheher Qazi’. To become the next ‘Sheher Qazi’, Rizwan pushes Qazi from the stairs, but he survives.  Qazi’s health worsens due to Rizwan’s medicine. Kabir tactfully puts a stop to the riots. Kabir is praised by the media.

Some goons warn Zara to leave Kausar’s case. Kabir swears on the holy ‘Quran’ and warns to end their relationship if she doesn’t relent.

Zara resolves to not attend the case hearing. Later, she learns about Kausar’s suicide attempt due to her decision. Zeenat and Rizwan join forces against Zara and Kabir.

Zara’s argument leads to Kausar’s win in the Sharia board. Kabir garnering praises irks Rizwan. Enraged, he runs Kabir over with a car before he could save Zara from being shot.
