4th July 2020 Saturday on Zara’s Nikah Update: Zara is dressed in nice engagement dress and glares at him. Kabir greets everyone. Shahbaz says lets start ceremony, Kabir greets great priest. He greets Salma who blesses him. Kabir sits beside Zara, she tries to talk to him but all guests gather around him. Alina comes there and shows something in her phone to Kabir. Zara says which phone is this? I want to buy a new one, mine broke. Kabir looks on.
Alina says Kabir can buy you a new one. Kabir says my phone is broken too, I have been trying to call since yesterday but it didnt get through, Alina says I will ask father to get two new phones, she leaves. Zara whispers to Kabir that I am worried. Kabir says we cant do anything till engagement, let it happen then we will think.
Great priest asks Shahbaz to start rituals. Ayesha and Salma exchange gifts. Great priest says now they will exchange rings.
Salma gives ring to Zara. Kabir extends his hand. Zara is tensed, all look on. Zara makes Kabir wear the ring reluctantly. all clap. Priest asks Kabir to make her wear ring too. Ayesha asks Zeenat to give them ring. Zeenat says ring? sorry I forgot that I have it, I will bring it, she leaves. All look on. Reema says to Zara that situation can be anything but you are looking pretty. Zara glares at her. Suddenly all hear Zeenat’s scream. Zeenat shouts Ruksar! what did you do? All rush to Ruksar’s room. Ruksar is lying in her bed with her pulse cut and bleeding. All come there and are stunned. Zeenat cries and says she cut her wrist. Kabir lifts her in his arms and tries to leave. Shahbaz says where are you going? there are guests outside, Kabir says so? Shahbaz says it will be an insult. Kabir says I dont care about anything else other than ruksar’s life, she has lost a lot of blood. She rushes from engagement part with Ruksar in his arms. Head priest, Zara and guests look on. Shahbaz says to Head priest that Zeenat’s sister Ruksar cut her wrist, she wanted to marry Kabir. Head priest says dont worry, you are a political person, you know how to tackle things, handle your guests, do something to mend everything. Shahbaz says to guests that we are sorry, an incident happened so we have to cut short this ceremony, guests say its okay and leave. All look on.
Scene 2
Doctor checks Ruksar and says she had heavy blood loss. Kabir goes to complete formalities. Zeenat cries and says this is all my mistake, our mom left her with me on my saying and I forget my duty towards her just to handle my house. Ayesha says dont cry daughter, everything will be fine. Zeenat glares at her and says this is happening because of you, if anything happens to my daughter then you and Shahbaz will be responsible, I wont forgive you. Police comes there and says Ruksar attempted suicide so we have to investigate. Kashan says can we talk later? Zeenat says no, she asks inspector what he wants to ask?
Kabir is at reception, Zara comes there and gives him water. He says you here? Zara says I came here with Reema, parents are coming too, drink water. Kabir thanks her and drinks it. Zara asks how is Ruksar? Kabir says she is not out of danger. Zara says I cant believe such pretty girl can take this action, wish if we had stopped this engagement then.. she cries. Kabir says why you are crying? Ruksar stopped engagement but she did a big sin, suicide is the biggest sin of world. He sees Zara silently weeping and is miffed, he pushes handkerchief towards her but she tries to push it away, he pushes it back, she takes it and wipes her eyes, he offers her water. She drinks it and weeps. He asks if she wants more water? she says no, can I see Ruksar? he says okay, you said Reema is coming, where is she? Reema comes there. Kabir says lets go.
Zeenat tells inspector that our parents died few years back so Ruksar lives with me in my inlaws house. Inspector asks if Ruksar had any mental illness? Zeenat says nothing like that. Inspector asks then why did she try to do suicide? Zeenat says she cut her wrist because.. Shahbaz comes there and glares at her, she stops. Shahbaz greets inspector. Inspector says Shahbaz sir, you here? Shahbaz says this is my family, inspector says oh they should have informed before, what Shahbaz will say will be statement, Shahbaz leaves with inspector. Zeenat looks on. Kabir comes there with Zara and Reema. Zeenat is disgusted and glares at them. Zeenat grabs Zara and says what are you doing here? have you come to prob our wounds more or want to see if your attack was futile? Kabir asks her to calm down. Zeenat says my sister is dying because of you. Kashan pulls Zeenat away and says control yourself. Kabir says to Zara that I think its not good for you to be here, I am sorry but you have to leave. Zara sees Zeenat crying and is sad. Reema starts leaving with Zara.
Doctor comes and says to Kabir that patient’s blood group is AB- which is difficult to find and we dont have it, you have to arrange, Kabir says how we will find it? Zara is leaving but hears it, she says my blood group is AB- and I will donate my blood to Ruksar. Zeenat is stunned, all look on. Zara says saving someone’s life is like saving whole humanity and Quran says it. Kabir is impressed. Zara goes with doctor. Kabir smiles proudly. All are outside operation theatre. Zara goes in. Zeenat looks at her through window. Zara sees Ruksar on bed. Irfan and Salma comes to hospital. Irfan asks how is Ruksar? Shahbaz says she is in danger but she will be saved because of Zara. Salma sees Zara giving blood to Ruksar. Doctor comes out and says she is our of danger. Zeenat have sigh of relief and says thank you for saving her life. Doctor says blood donor saved her life. Kabir smiles.
Zara gives blood to Ruksar. She comes out of room. Salma hugs her and asks if she is fine? Zara says I am fine. Zeenat comes to her and says I thought you were our enemy but I realized that if you were not here then Ruksar wont be saved, I am sorry.
Zara says you dont have to say sorry, I would have done same in your place, my father taught me to save lives, God is happy with those people, Ruksar wont do this again, she will get Kabir’s hand, she will marry Kabir, I never wanted to marry Kabir. All are stunned. Shahbaz says what she is saying? Irfan says lets not talk about it here, we will talk with head priest now. Zara starts leaving with her family, she gives thumbs up to Kabir, he nods. Zara says to Irfan that I want to meet Ruksar, she goes.
Zara comes to Ruksar’s
room, she is sleeping. zara holds her hand and says I know you will wake up soon, I didnt save your life by giving you blood but you saved my life by spilling your blood, I will make you get married to Kabir, she kisses her hand and leaves.
At night, Ruksar wakes up and sees Shahbaz standing in her room, she tries to sit but Shahbaz lifts her bed and glares at her. He says if anything happened to you today then I would have to listen to taunts for life, you are like Alina to me, you are my daughter. Ruksar says father I want to marry Kabir. Shahbaz says Kabir can be yours but there is one condition.
Kabir sees engagement ring in his finger, he takes it off, Zeenat looks on. Kabir gives engagement ring to Ayesha, he says engagement didnt happen so this ring doesnt have worth in my eyes, you keep it. Shahbaz comes there and says Ruksar is awake.
Salma says to Irfan that there are so many problem in their house, that girl cut her wrist, its not right to get Zara married there. Zara smirks. Salma asks Reema to stay with Zara.
Zara and Reema comes to room, Zara dances around and says I am so happy, this marriage is broken now, my blood saved me today. Reema says we should celebrate it with Imran and Kabir. Zara says good idea.
Zeenat and family meets Ruksar. Zeenat says why did you do that? what if something happened to you? Ruksar says I am sorry, I hurt everyone, I am ashamed. Ayesha says you realized your mistake so dont ever do it, we will not give you chance to complain now. Shahbaz says lets go home, Ruksar have to stay for one more night. zeenat says me and Kashan will stay here, all leave. Ruksar says I want to talk to Kabir alone, all leave them. Ruksar says are you miffed? Kabir says why? Ruksar says I destroyed your biggest day. Kabir says sadness and happiness are part of life, I am miffed because you did such big sin, suicide is prohibited in Islam. Ruksar says I just thought that I dont want a life where you are not present, I am sorry. Kabir says if you find solution if you are alive, death is not a solution, come home and say sorry to God, thank God that he saved your life, he greets her and leaves.
Irfan is checking bills for marriage. Salma says why did you give whole money for arrangements? marriage is not happening anymore, I wish I had said no before so we didnt have to see this day, engagement wouldnt have broken for Zara, I think we should find a nice boy for Zara. Irfan says dont worry about it, we should talk to Shahbaz before ending all this. Shahbaz calls Irfan, Irfan says okay we will come with Zara, he ends call. Irfan says he has called us in evening to his home. Salma says Zara has gone out with Reema.
Reema, Zara, Kabir and Imran are in restaurant. Zara is laughing loudly. Kabir asks her to not laugh loud, all are listening. Zara says I think if I am not disturbing anyone then it doesnt matter, we celebrate happiness like this. Kabir says religion asks to remain calm. Imran asks them to stop it, we are celebrating the broken engagement so not fight. Zara says yes I dont want to spoil my mood. Zara says lets order something, she asks Kabir what he wants? he says I dont want to eat anything. His friend says he likes to eat sitting on floor.
Zara says Ruksar wont be able to enjoy restaurant food. Kabir’s friend says to Reema that if you say yes then we can get married first, Reema says have you seen your face, all laugh. Zara admires Kabir and says you look nice when you smile. Reema says we can make friends group on social media. Kabir says I dont like social media, it makes people see others photos which is not allowed in Islam. Zara says thank God I am not marrying you. Kabir says I am not marrying you so thats great, they argue.
All have meeting with head priest. Irfan says you are our elder and we respect you but what happened yesterday was not nice and we dont appreciate it. Salma says Zara is our only daughter, we care for her, Ruksar cut her wrist today, what if she cuts Zara’s wrist tomorrow? I wont marry my daughter in dangerous family. Head priest says that they are right, Shahbaz do you have anything to say that can change their minds? Zeenat and Ruksar comes there. Ruksar smiles at Zeenat. Ruksar says I am sorry to interrupt but I want to say something and do something too.
Ayesha says to Zara that I know you both were against this marriage but understand that what elders decide is always in younger best favor. She brings garland and is about to make Zara wear it but Zara gets up and says where is washroom? Alina takes her.
Alina is taking Zara to washroom, Alina says people either like grand weddings or smaller weddings, she shows her rooms and says Kabir’s room will be yours.
Zara says do you have any emergency exit in this house? Alina asys yes, she shows her door and says its passage is through Kabir’s room. Zara says okay you go, I will return. Alina says I can wait. Zara says you are denying me from now on? please go. Alina leaves. Zara looks around, she sees a window in Kabir’s room and tries to jump from it but falls.
Kabir comes there and shakes his head, he asks if she is fine? I knew you would do something like this. Zara says you were not doing anything. Kabir says you should have run before engagement. Zara says are you involved in this plan too? Kabir says why would I plot against myself? I wouldnt marry you even if you are last girl in the world. Zara says I think same, think how to break this wedding. Kabir says should I drop you home? Zara says no they will think that we are running together.
