SYNOPSIS
Two wedding planners, who have contrasting personalities, venture together as business partners to manage a marriage bureau. The show promises a journey of self-revelation of two individuals who are extremely different from one another but what keeps them together is respect.
FULL STORY LINE
Preeti, a simple and caring woman, wishes to earn self-respect by working as a wedding planner after her son, Tarun, and his wife, Rati, throw her out of the house.

On the other side, KT, who appears happy, hides a deep wound within. When Chanda Rathore, a prospective bride for KT, insults him because he rejected her, KT’s uncle Sushant motivates him to work again.
KT offers a business partnership to Preeti, which she initially denies but agrees when KT stands for her before a wretched client. They face many issues in their initial days of business, but this leads them to develop a bond of friendship, trust, and respect.

Tarun puts forth a challenge before Preeti where, in 25 days, she will have to prove herself capable of becoming a businesswoman. With KT’s help, she wins.
While organizing Bua Sa and Fufa Sa’s 50th wedding anniversary, misunderstandings occur, leading Preeti to break her partnership with KT after finishing an event with a mysterious client.
On the day of the wedding event, the mysterious client turns out to be KT’s ex-wife, Nandini. To get his revenge, KT marries Preeti. However, Preeti knows that their relationship is respect for each other.
After their marriage, Preeti falls in love with KT, and they collaborate to discover Nandini’s motive.
On the day of Makar Sankranti, Nandini discloses Arjun is an orphan. KT is caught in a fire but is saved by Preeti. Nandini is arrested but vows to return. Later, Tarun and Arjun apologize to Preeti for mistreating her.
Kusum breaks ties with Preeti when Neel denies having any feelings for Priyanka and becomes engaged to Shika. Neel tells KT and Preeti that Kushaala pressured him to marry as they went through a business crisis. Preeti and KT arrange the money through Shaadi Mubarak. Kusum apologizes to Preeti and gives her blessings to Priyanka and Neel. Preeti and KT both agree to divorce, as KT doesn’t love Preeti.
While Preeti leaves for Mumbai, KT realizes he is in love with her. Desperate to win her back, KT rushes to Preeti and declares his love for her publicly, and they reconcile.
Kusum goes abroad with Aastha for her studies. Preeti is heartbroken after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer. KT and Peeeti long for a child so they chose Phurti, a carefree bubbly girl who dreams of settling in London, as a surrogate in return for sending her to London. Phurti becomes pregnant with KT and Preeti’s child through IVF. Preeti introduces Phurti as her sister to the family as she begins to live in the Tibrewal Mansion.
The Tibrewals are in turmoil following the revelations regarding Phurti’s pregnancy as KT accepts the baby as his and Preeti’s. Kushaala criticizes Preeti for taking her son away from her after KT takes a stand on his and Preeti’s decision to choose surrogacy to get KT and the family a child. After some tension, the family eventually accepts the surrogacy situation.
Eight months later
Juhi finds a doctor that can cure Preeti. While KT and Preeti’s baby shower occurs, Kushaala finds Preeti in pain after slipping in the bathroom and admits her to the hospital. After seeing Preeti at the cancer hospital in Delhi on the news, KT confronts Juhi, revealing about Preeti’s illness. Phurti goes into premature labor and delivers a girl. Preeti’s surgery is successful, but she is suffering from amnesia. While the hospital catches on fire, Preeti helps a pregnant Shikha and is taken in by her and her husband, Vishal.
KT has an emotional outburst when he doesn’t find Preeti and blames Kushaala for not caring for her. Vishal and Shikha go to the hospital to find out about Preeti’s family, but some confusion leads them to think that Preeti is a different patient, Mohi Bansal. Shikha delivers a baby girl but asks Mohi to take care of her after an accident. Vishal hates Mohi, thinking she is the reason for Shikha’s death. KT stops his family from performing Preeti’s last rituals and states that she will return.
Five years later
KT is an RJ and a doting father of his and Preeti’s daughter, Kirti. Preeti, who still thinks she is ‘Mohi,’ moves to Udaipur. Shikha and Vishal’s daughter, also named Preeti, and Kirti is admitted to the same school. Kirti, not knowing Mohi is her mother, dislikes her when she makes her clean the school floor. Mohi hates KT when he rusticates her after Kirti complains to him about her.
Mohi calls KT to confront him about his decision, but he doesn’t answer, so she goes to the Tibrewal mansion. The Tibrewals are happily celebrating Holi while KT feels Mohi’s presence and searches for her. KT encounters Mohi, and she warns him to retract his complaint. Everyone becomes emotional seeing her while she furiously goes from there.
KT learns about Mohi’s past and befriends her, but he hides his identity and goes by the name ‘Keertan.’ Mohi accepts Keertan’s request to join Shaadi Mubarak, but after learning that the owner is none other than KT she immediately declines the job offer. Keertan makes Mohi realize that KT is not a bad person and she rejoins the office.
KT is frozen to his place after Kirti gets stuck in a fire and remembers the hospital incident. Mohi rescues her while KT scolds Kirti for not respecting Mohi. Vishal plans vengeance on Mohi for separating his daughter from him. Mohi suspects Keertan’s intentions after he takes KT’s side whenever he lands into trouble. Kushaala confronts Priyanka and Neel after overhearing their conversation to separate Mohi and little Preeti. Priyanka stands her ground by stating that she feels Mohi isn’t getting what she deserves and reveals that she has suffered from two miscarriages and is only doing what’s best for the family. Mohi witnesses Kirti and little Preeti being kidnapped and rescues them.

Wedding Planners First Episode
The Episode starts with Preeti preparing for her son’s wedding. The lady Kusum Kothari asks her the daughter Kajal to write her name, they are going in Tarun and Rati’s marriage. She argues with her other daughter. Kusum says we didn’t know we will see this day. She gets Jyoti’s call. She tries to show her jewellery to Jyoti. She says we are going to Preeti’s son’s marriage. Jyoti says don’t know how is Preeti managing alone. Kusum says my son Sumedh and bahu Juhi are helping Preeti well since a month. Preeti does much work. Jyoti says Preeti didn’t call me for kalash rasam, but invited me for mehendi, she didn’t upset anyone, she is much valued. Tarun asks Preeti to see sherwani fitting. She applies black dot to him. He says I don’t believe in all this. Juhi says mum is going to give you a good surprise today. Kusum comes and greets them.
She asks where is my son. Juhi says he is working outside. Kusum says you are making him work. Juhi says just till marriage, then we will be in your house. Kusum signs her daughters. She says we will have food and go. Juhi gets the kalash. Sumedh holds it. The man asks her to say the chann for Sumedh. Juhi sees Preeti. Preeti signs her. Juhi says the chann. Preeti and Juhi dance. They do the ghoomar. Kusum says every girl knows ghoomar here, Preeti is my samdhan, if I dance, then her dance will not look good. Tarun comes and says I told you that Rati and I will have a court marriage, Rati’s wedding lahenga got torn, if lahenga doesn’t come then Rati won’t come till the mandap. Sumedh says don’t worry, I will do some arrangements. Tarun says you got me insulted. Preeti takes him. She gives her lahenga. Tarun says Rati had bought designer lahenga. Preeti checks the internet. She sends Tarun and stitches the lahenga. Juhi says Preeti is a super mum, you will know it soon, she can do anything. He says you always praise mum. Rati comes and likes the lahenga. She says wow…. Juhi asks did you like it.
Rati says a lot. Juhi says Tarun said mum isn’t a super woman. Rati says tell him that she is special, how did she get it so soon. Juhi says its mum’s bridal lahenga, she has made it a designer one. Rati says I will try it now, this is so pretty. Her mum says I thought you are being foolish to shift Preeti to your house. Rati says she is so lovely, innocent and healthy, you have seen her managing impossible situation, she will manage house, I will manage my career, its tough to get servants, I will handle her well, she can’t even talk. Juhi asks Preeti to come with her. She sees some papers. She says it means Tarun’s marriage gift is ready, your lovely poem. Preeti gets ready. Juhi says I like your poem a lot. She reads the poem and hugs her. Kusum and daughters come for the wedding. Sumedh compliments her and says we will take a selfie. Preeti smiles seeing Tarun and Rati. She sees the chandelier falling down. She shouts Tarun and runs to push him. Preeti asks are you fine, the chandelier fell down, you should have been careful. Everyone gets shocked seeing her talking. Rati says you can talk. Juhi says yes, she never lost her voice, she was silent as she had a mannat for Tarun. Tarun looks at Preeti.
Juhi says Preeti had stitched lahenga for Rati in 30mins, she had stitched her lips for 20 years for his sake, Tarun ate glass when he was a baby, he couldn’t speak, mum had a mannat, if he gets his voice back, then she will not speak until he wears his sehra, she always tolerated and didn’t talk ever. She hugs Preeti. She says she always liked to sing and talk a lot, but she got mute after that mannat, it was last day of her mannat, she was going to break this silence by telling the poem, she spoke today to save you. Sumedh says I heard a lot about mothers, but I can’t believe it, you locked your voice for 20 years. Tarun asks is the drama over or are you going to begin. He gets angry on Preeti. He says you think I got my voice because of your mannat, what’s the use of doctors. Juhi says its about faith, mum makes sacrifice for children. He says you did drama to be quiet, you know I had to feel insulted because of your drama, I left house and went to hostel because of you, I had to bear a lot. Juhi argues with him. Preeti cries.
Juhi defends Preeti. Rati says sorry from Tarun’s side, I will explain him, please get ready. Preeti goes. A man comes home. The poetry papers fly out of the room. The man picks the papers and reads. Preeti looks on. He reads the poetry. He smiles. He says whom are you waiting for, KD is there. Ik tara….plays….
Preeti crying. KT says its okay, you can cry, relax, I know you can’t believe it, that I m here but I m also a normal man, you can touch my hand and check, I really appreciate your love. She thinks who is he. He says you are getting nervous, we will take selfie later, I don’t think of anything, I maybe your fav superstar. He gives his autograph. He says I have told a line in film well, you should smile, it doesn’t need money, but face. He goes. She smiles and says KT, strange name. The ladies praise Preeti. Kusum says every mum does that, even I did a lot. She gets surprised seeing KT.
She says he is superstar of Rajasthani movies. She recalls his dance. Media goes to KT. She says I will go to him, he is a big superstar. Tarun says really sorry to say that in anger. Preeti says let it go, its an auspicious day. Rati praises KT, the superstar. KT gifts her. Tarun greets him and says I will introduce my mum. KT says she knows me, I have met her. Rati asks when. KT says just when I came in, we had a short meeting, Rati, your lahenga is beautiful like you, some special designer would have made it, really nice. KT takes pics with them. Preeti goes. Rati asks her to come. Preeti joins them. Kusum says I will go and get pics clicked. Jyoti calls her and says KT still looks so young, he is handsome. Kusum asks how do you know. Jyoti says Preeti is getting marriage covered on local channel, the guests who can’t come can be part of the marriage, I got a pic with KT on TV. Kusum says I will go and get pic with KT. She asks Preeti to make her meet KT. She says I m his big fan, I m your daughter’s Saas, you need to listen to me. Preeti asks about KT. The man says he went that side.
Preeti stops KT. He says this backdrop is also good for selfie. She says no, she wanted it. She doesn’t see Kusum. He says you are my big fan. Kusum comes and sees him. She smiles and stares. Music plays… She imagines their romance. Preeti says she wanted to get pic clicked. Kusum says yes. She calls the photographer. KT asks Preeti to come. He gets the pic clicked. Kusum asks did you get my 11 rs, I have prayed for you. KT says then I shall go home. Kusum says yes. Preeti smiles. He asks do you remember, smile, it doesn’t need money, but face. She nods. Kusum asks Preeti to smile, leave it, she can’t do it.
Juhi comes to Preeti. Preeti goes with her. They greet the elders. Juhi says mum has done all the arrangements alone. Maa says I m glad to hear your voice, your tapasya got completed today, I thought to wear my fav saree and get pic clicked in Tarun’s pic, Preeti sent the saree, but how will my pic come. Preeti says your wish will be fulfilled. She gets her pic board and gets family pic clicked. Juhi goes to reporters. She says mum has done all the decorations, I can’t let anyone take the credit. Rati says sorry, I thought you won’t care for it. Juhi says you did all this. Preeti says its good, Rati will get more work if her company gets famous. Tarun says mum doesn’t have to run her company. Preeti says yes, my bahu and son are there to handle me. Kusum says I would have never given credit to anyone.
Preeti goes to welcome Rati. Rati guides her about the things kept in kitchen. Kusum says Preeti didn’t come here before, its unique grahpravesh, Rati knows everything well. Preeti does aarti. Kusum asks Rati to remove her sandal. Rati slips when she hits the kalash and steps in. Preeti holds her hand and goes out of the door while balancing her. Kusum says its strange, bahu came in and Saas got out, don’t know what will happen next. Preeti gets sad.
