Prithvi explains to Shrishti he had suffocation so he thought for increasing some ventilation. She notices sweat beads even in such cold over his face. Prithvi says may be its because of smoke. Shrishti thinks about Rishab and Karan and calls them heroes for saving Preeta. She says she never thought rich boys can be so good, even Sameer stood by her in difficult times. Prithvi takes a leave from Shrishti and Preeta. Shrishti shuts the window as they don’t want any chilled winds in the house. Prithvi thinks about some other idea to enter the house, he steps over the keys and turns to find his cell phone from his pocket before leaving.
Shrishti was tensed about the risk Prithvi had taken. She recalls his anger. Her mother comes to Sherlin and asks about Preeta’s roka with Prithvi.
Sherlinsays she only got to know about it there. Her mother wasn’t ready to accept Sherlin didn’t know Prithvi would be there. Sherlin gets emotional that she left Prithvi just for her, and sacrificed her love. Her mother insists Rishab is a very nice man, only he can get her the love she deserves. Preeta smiles in bed thinking about Karan that he is already crazy, and it wasn’t because of smoke around that got into his brain. Shrishti asks if she is thinking about Prithvi or Karan. Preeta was irked and questions if she has nothing better to speak about? Karan isn’t that special, and points that it’s Shrishti who thinks about Sameer a lot these days. Prithvi reaches a deserted road and thinks no one would ever judge he has murdered Janki. He boasts about his luck side and having found the keys of house while leaving.
Rishab gets up in his bed sleepless and smiles thinking about Preeta’s concern for him. Rakhi watches him awake and comes inside with a bottle of water. She asks why he awake till so late. Rishab makes up he was only enjoying some fresh air. Rakhi asks about his reason for smile. Rishab says he was only thinking sometimes one gets so important for you and you can’t even express it to them. Rakhi thinks he was speaking about Sherlin and tells him never to share it with her. She kiss his forehead and tells him to even call her for a while. Rishab thinks he so wish to call her, but it’s too late and what would he speak to her about.
Prithvi looks for Janki and comes to Dadi’s room. As he turns around he slips the rug. Dadi wakes up at once and comes out to look for someone as she had seen a shadow running from her room. Outside, she decides to wake everyone up, maybe it’s a thief. Prithvi takes a vase and comes behind Bee ji to hit him. Bee ji turns around and jerks the idea that may it’s a doubt. Prithvi decides not to spare that Janki.
Preeta looks at her cell phone for the call and leaves the room in the middle of night. Shrishti inquires whose call it is. Preeta makes up its Prithvi. Shrishti forbids herself to stop thinking about Sameer.
Prithvi opens the door of Sarla’s room. He was irritated and finds a photo of Preeta and family and speaks to it about snatching this smile off their faces soon. She and Karan spied at them, he will marry Preeta and turn her life into hell now.
Karan was irritated as Preeta doesn’t attend his call, he then ignores her call; then attempts a video call. Preeta cuts the video call and calls him now. Karan asks Preeta if she was also sleepless like him, he guess they have been thinking about each other. Preeta thinks if Karan was also thinking about her, like she was? Karan tells Preeta he was thinking about Prithvi. Did he go to Kumkum Bhagya kitchen and store room earlier. Preeta says no, obviously. Inside the room, Prithvi points a torch light over Janki’s face and says she has been lucky enough for today, now he will take her life. The main door behind Preeta opens up due to heavy wind. Preeta wonders how is this possible, how could the door be left unlocked? Prithvi intends to cut Janki’s neck by knife, then thinks he promised Sherlin he won’t let her murder appear fake. He recalls Preeta attended the doctor’s call that there is less oxygen in Janki’s lungs, they must lay her straight and not by side. Prithvi decides to stuff Janki’s face with a cushion and pushes it hard. Janki’s hand tremble. Prithvi was shocked to hear Preeta call Sarla, Shrishti and Dadi. Everyone was tensed and wakes up. Dadi wonders if Preeta also watched someone. Preeta says the main door has been unlocked. They were all alert. Preeta remembers well she locked it, and sense there is someone in the house. Dadi says she had seen a shadow a while ago, she came outside but couldn’t catch anyone.
Everyone look around. Preeta was alert watching Janki’s door open. Preeta says there is a possibility someone is in there. Prithvi sat with Janki, but as they turn the lights on none was there. They notice the cushion under Janki’s neck had fallen on the floor. Prithvi thinks she attempted to breathe when he pushed her, what if she wakes up. They look around the room while Prithvi was hidden behind a curtain. They discuss they have checked all rooms in the house. Shrishti wonders what if he is somewhere they can’t see. Sarla takes them to sleep. Bee ji watches the curtain moving. Preeta takes a wooden stick. Prithvi takes a chance to get behind the stool, there was nothing behind the curtain. Shrishti confirms from Preeta if she really closed the door? Prithvi was curt over their game of thief-police. Shrishti says she checked the lock well, there is nothing wrong with it. She insists that the thief must have run away by now since they are awake. Sarla also insists them all to take rest. Preeta asks to stay beside Janki for a while. She turns the lights of the room off and sits on a chair nearby.
Sameer wakes up as he dreams about Shrishti dragging him up the bed. He turns the lamp on and prays to God for not another dream about Shrishti.
Prithvi decides to be very careful not to be seen by anyone and covers himself in a shawl.
