When a reporter insists on questioning Deb, he warns him that he hates interference in his personal life. Pia warns Jai to get ready for their wedding or the DVD would reach the cops. A nurse gives Bani a letter that says she should escape in the food van waiting at the asylum. She jumps off the van, with the cops on her trail. Bani comes to her house and sees her babies but escapes when she hears the cops. Deb announces at the party that his life’s biggest chance awaits him, so he leaves midway.

Bani is shattered seeing Pia and Jai get married. A lawyer from a women’s organisation stops Pia and Jai’s wedding saying that Jai is already married, and they can marry only after receiving a court order. Jai thanks the women for rescuing him but Pia shows him the babies’ adoption papers backdated by her and signed by Bani. She blackmails him into signing the papers. A dejected Bani enters a mountain blasting area and collapses but Deb airlifts Bani. Jai feels very restless and prays to the Goddess for the first time to take care of Bani. The cop informs him just then that Bani is no more. A distraught Jai vows that he will live life only for his children now. Meanwhile, Deb offers Bani a new lease of life in the UK. Bani and Jai perform their own last rites.

DEB CHRISTENS BANI AS DURGA ‘ 5 YEAR LEAP Deb tells his men that Jai’s love will be his weapon now. He says that Bani will surely come. Bani leaves with Deb for the UK. Deb christens Bani as Durga. Bani vows to return to the city someday to question her loved ones, and to meet her children. Five years later, the Walia residence bears a deserted look. The only relationship that has flourished is that between Ranvir and Varun. Jai has become extremely insensitive and cynical. Meanwhile, Bani burns a Walia family photograph.
