Jai and Bani standing outside. She tells Jai to put his hand forward and gives him his watch. He is surprised and asks her how she got it and whether she was at the shop. She tells him that their mother had given the three sisters some jewelry which she sold since she had heard Jai and Aditya talking. She tells him that she bought back the watch since it is a part of him and it shows him the time and is the most important thing in this hard time and that Jai should have it. He tells her that he would have managed and that those jewels were important to her and hence shouldn’t have sold them. She tells him that for a women jewelry is a means that makes them look beautiful but for a wife her husband is her biggest and most precious jewel. He tells her that if she is with him nothing can ever go wrong and that he can overcome anything.

They go inside and Dadi and Aditya are sitting. Dadi tells Jai and Bani that in their hometown in Punjab a new mata ka mandir is coming up and she has pledged 11 lakh rupees from their side. She asks if it is ok and not too much to which Jai has no choice but to reply in the affirmative. Jigyasa enters and asks if the money has been transferred and Jai tells her they will be done in a day or two. Jigyasa remarks that the money hasn’t come but people asking for them have started coming. Dadi very cleverly replies that they have come all decked up and that they should begin now, taunting Jigyasa.

Dadi leaves and Jigyasa starts about how they should sponsor Anu and her family’s trip abroad since they want to celebrate their son’s birthday and also since people have told her all sorts of rubbish when they were living in the chawl they should throw a party and she also informs them that she has called a few friends tomorrow. She also tells him that they need to change their cars and that she has called for some imported car brochures.

Rano is at the doctors and the doctor says that for Pia to become alright they will have to take her to the US for a period of atleast 2 months but if that isn’t possible they can call for the same treatment procedure over here but it would cost 25 lakhs. Rano tells the doctor that she will let him know tomorrow and he tells her not to take too much time to think.

Rano asks Bani for that money but she tells her that 25 lakhs is too much. Rano says that she is surprised at how for Bani, Pia’s life is not even worth 25 lakhs. She says that whatever Pia may have done she doesn’t deserve death and that Pia is her blood after all. She tells Bani that Pia maybe deserves all this and that she has given her many pains in life but why should Bani stoop down to Pia’s levels because if one was wrong it doesn’t mean the other should be wrong too. Rano tells Bani that she may hate or love Pia but at the end of the day both are the sides of the same coin. Rano tells her that she came to her since she took her to be the goddess of their lives but she forgot that now Bani is a human being and for them 25 lakhs is  a lot to give for their sister. She says she wouldn’t have come to Bani but she is helpless and can’t let Pia die. She then tells Bani that all the three sisters have terrible fates, Pia went after money but got nothing, Bani went after love and got betrayal and hurt, Rano went after dreams but nothing is reality till now and the worst is that all three of them are separate and don’t stand or fight for each other anymore. Jai tries to intervene but to no avail.

Rano goes away and Jai asks Bani why she didn’t tell Rano the truth. Bani tells him that she doesn’t need to know their financial condition and if this is what it takes to hide it so be it. She tells Jai that at least she won’t feel her sister is incapable of helping. Bani goes away leaving Jai alone and he thinks to himself that Bani is a goddess after all. Maasi comes there and asks Jai what all that was about. He tells her and she then goes to meet Bani. She tells Bani that being the older one Bani should forgive and help in these crisis. She tells her that whatever maybe Pia’s crimes, if god forbid something happens to her Bani will never be able to forgive her own self. She says it was her duty to tell Bani and make her understand and leaves. Bani is left thinking of all the past moments, good and bad. She then wishes her parents were here so she could bury her head in their laps and cry and even ask for forgiveness.

At the card party Jigyasa has thrown someone says something about the female who bought the jewelry from Bani and Jigyasa decides to use it against that female once she comes. When she comes Jigs taunts her and the other friend shows her a piece of jewelry Bani had sold to her. She says that some one by the name of Aparjit Deb has run away with all their money and the Walia’s are in the dumps. Jigyasa says she knows nothing about it and calls Bani to clear it out. When Bani doesn’t answer, the female taunts Jigyasa back and Jigyasa tells all of them to leave.

Jigyasa is shouting at Bani and telling her how well her lover and she planned this and why doesn’t Bani just stop now. All the family members except Jai have gathered. She tells Bani that isn’t Bani satisfied with putting them in chawls etc once that she needs to do it again and so soon. Maasi tries to stop Jigyasa and tells Jigyasato let Bani say something but to no avail. Jigyasa goes on and on about how Bani and her lover Aparjit Deb took everything away and how her heart is always ruling. Jai comes from behind and says ‘Shut up Jigyasa’ in a very loud and powerful tone.

Jigyasa telling Bani that Aparajit Deb has taken all that they had and she being his lover has helped him out. They must be very happy after taking everything away. Jai comes in and tells her that enough is enough and now she won’t utter a word against Bani. Jigyasa tells him that why shouldn’t she say anything because it is because of Bani that they are in the state they are in now. She tells Jai that how can he be fine with all this. He tells her that it doesn’t matter to him because he has his wife, his children and his family with him. He tells her that they lost their father at 21 and all the responsibilities of the company came onto him, Jigyasa herself was only 16 and Jai took care of her like a father and never made her realize that she didn’t have parents. He gave her everything she ever asked for and that was all she ever did, ask. He tells her that did she ever ask him how he was, inquire about him? Jai tells Jigyasa that she doesn’t know what being alone and helpless is. He tells her that taking care of everyone he forgot he had emotions, he had become stone hearted. He tells them he couldn’t say he was sick or had a headache because he was the oldest and had to take care of everyone. He says that after Bani entered his life he realized he also had the right to fall sick and be taken care of. He also felt the pain and the love. His life changed after Bani entered his life.

Jigyasa continues with how she is surprised that Jai thinks that way because she has always done everything for her family which includes Jai. She says that she has lost her son because of the three sisters and maybe Jai didn’t fall sick before because  he was happy, like all of them were. She says that these three sisters are a curse to the house and now they have nothing, no money or reputation or respect. She questions Jai as to why he is supporting and defending Bani so much. Jai gets irritated and says that he is doing so because she is his wife but Jigyasa wouldn’t know anything about that relationship since she never treated Aditya the way a husband is supposed to be treated.

Everyone leaves but Jai, Bani and Maasi. Maasi comes over to Jai and tells him that she has never said it but today he has become bigger than her, older than her. She leaves and Bani is crying silently. Jai goes over to her and tells her that he has told her never to cry, her tears are too precious to him to be wasted like this. He tells her that she makes him feel as if he is 21 all over again and that he has to grow old with her.

Bani is sitting in her room all sad when Rano comes in and apologizes for her behavior before and asks why didn’t she tell her before. Bani tells her that she couldn’t tell Rano that and disappoint her. Rano buries her head in Bani’s lap. Rano tells the doctors that they can’t go in for treatment and the doctor says that Rano should take Pia home since her condition is not going to improve just staying here and the bill will so along with a nurse Rano should take Pia come and get her to the hospital twice for a check up. There is flashback of all the times Bani snubbed Pia and Rano says that she cant take Pia to Walia Mansion.

Jai comes in and seeing Bani so sad asks her what is wrong. He answers it himself and goes and stands at the window. He looks out and sees a bird on the tree and takes Bani out with him. He shows her the nest and says it was destroyed but the birds built it again and if the birds can do it so can they. He tells her that there will never be a time where he won’t be able to give them food and that Bani should have faith in him. He tells her that she is his anchor and if she becomes weak who will support him. The song ‘ek pyar ka nagma hai’ plays in the background with their flashback scene.

Jigyasa is sitting and cancelling the car orders and when the guy isn’t listening to her she orders him to do so. After that Dadi comments that Jigyasa should buy a scooter since she cant travel buy buses or trains and in the rickshaw her friends might see her but in the scooter the helmet will cover her face. Then the travel agent calls and she cancels the tickets and asks for a package to north india without a return ticket and Dadi makes that into a joke too. The contractor comes with a budget for house renovations but she tells him to go away and cracks a comment about black paint. Jigyasa then rudely tells Dadi that she should grow up and realize that they have nothing left since not everything is a joke.

Rano walks into Walia mansion and looks harrowed. When Maasi asks her she tells her about Pia’s treatment can’t go forward and how she is helpless. Jigyasa takes this as a perfect opportunity and tells her to bring Pia come home since the house is as much of Pia’s as of Bani’s since both are mothers of Jai’s children. She tells Rano that Bani is no one to decide and that whatever may have happened between them is not of their concern. Bani comes and tells Rano to bring Pia home and goes away.

Jai gets mad and tells that they will incur the costs but Pia won’t come back. Jigyasa says that Jai has forgotten they don’t have money to which Jai says they can put her in a charitable hospital. Jigyasa says that would be the last straw of their reputation and that how can they do that since the Walia’s once gave contributions to these same hospitals. Jigyasa tells Jai that is the reason for not wanting Pia back that Jai might not be able to control his attraction to her once again. Jai tells her to shut up and not say anything that comes into her mind. Bani comes down with a bag and says let Pia come here since she, Krishna and Atharva are shifting to the outhouse.
