Annu’s residence
Annu and her family are having a hearty laugh and bantering, about how the colour is not coming off from some, due to rashmi’s prank. Amidst this, Trisha and urmi’s family are shocked to see urmi standing in the doorway. They rush upto her, and ask how did she come her so suddenly and asks if everything’s alright. Urmi stand silent. They are scared that she came alone and is such a state. Devi and granny too asks whats the matter. Finally saroj jerks her completely and asks her whats the matter. urmi screams out and hugs her tight. All are horrified to see her in such a state, as she incoherently continues crying.
Urtmi cries with the ladies, that she wont go there, as that isnt worth staying. the gents are tensed too. Granny advises her not to think like that, as fights are common but this shouldnt be said. Urmi says that now thibngs are going beyond her limits and that they shouldnt send her back there. saroj says that she wont but asks what had happened. trisha too tries to get her to talk as to why did she take such a big step. urmi cryingly tells that samrat slapped her, and that too without her fault. they are shocked to hear this, while gaurav is furious. She tells the entire incident, and portestingly asks them what wrong did she do to be meted with such behaviour. She is crying inconsolably. gaurav is furious and in a rage.
Scene 2:
Location: Samrat’s residence
The entire family is shocked at samrat’s behaviour and is discussing when samrat comes in his own tune, and asks for tea, and heads straight to his room. Shashi says that he would just get it for him. He is looking around for his clothes, and starts hollering for urmi. They aree all tensed downstairs. samrat comes in the balcony and asks them to send urmi. Shashi says that she would just come. He asks her to send urmi. they start looking at each other. He asks around to find where is urmi. his father retorts that she isnt seen as she went to her home. he is shocked and furious and comes down, asking she went again. his father stands upto him, saying that she got tired of his behaviour and hence went. He asks them why didnt they stop her, and why wasnt he informed. He says that she went with her belongings leaving this house. samrat is shocked. shashi too butts in, saying that his slap was the reason. He asks how dare she take such a big step. his father says that he too did a big wrong, and they are embarassed for what he did. Diwaker also tries to speak, but he says that they should have stopped her instead of lecturing him now. His father says that it was his fault. Samrat defiantly says that she didnt do right, and that she wronged him. samrat is super furious at the step that urmi has taken in retaliation, and decides that now he would show her how much she means and what she is worth of. All are tensed, while shashi is happy that things are going where she wanted them to. He asks them to tell her that she doesnt need to come back and stay there only. They are all tensed.
Later, they are disxcussing that urmi’s family too must be knowing about it now, and that they wont be able to face her family now. samrat comes in saying that th
ey dont need to overthink, as they arent guilty and they can go to hell, for all he cares. His father says that the family gets affected,a nd asks him to apologise to urmi and get her back. samrat is amused and says that he talks as if he is inebriated, as samrat never apologises to anyone, and says that urmi would come back and beg on her knees in front of him, for forgiveness. Gaurav comes in saying that he is highly mistaken if he thinks so, as its all in his mind. They are tensed. gaurav asks samrat how dare he slap his sister and what does he think of himself, as she has never been touched even. Samrat says that it was her fault, hence she got it. Gaurav asks him to stay in his limits, as they have sent urmi as his wife, to be treated with respect, not with slavery and ill mannered behaviour. Shashi tries to calm him down. Samrat tells gaurav that instaed of lecturing him, he should advise urmi, and should instead teach her some things, so that she doesnt do such foolishness. Gaurav asks samrat not to forget that he too has a sister, and if he had taught her manners, then today they wouldnt have had to take the harsh descision of cutting ties with her. samrat gets furious and grabs him by the collar and gaurav too reciprocates similarly. the others try to keep their hands off each other. Samrat is furious that he has to listen these things in his house. gaurav says that the truth is bitter. Samrat asks them to ask gaurav to leave this house or else he would lose his mind. Gaurav asks him not to even think of doing this again, as her brother is still alive. samrat says that wont be needed, as he has made a descision. He tells gaurav to keep urmi there only from now, as she isnt needed here. All are shocked. gaurav says that he can keep her all his life. samrat asks him to do so then. shashi asks gaurav to go home right now. samrat too motions him to go. Gaurav leaves in haste.
Scene 3:
Location: Annu’s residence
saroj and others are tensed, when saroj starts venting out frustration that she always knew that this was coming now. Devi says that they arent enemies of urmi. saroj says that whenever she tried to raise a doubt on samrat’s peculiar behaviour, she was advised not to think about it, instaed of paying heed to her concerns. gaurav comes in asking her not to bother, as he too gave samrat a lesson. they are all shocked. He is asked where he went. He says that he went to samrat’s house. gaurav says that he gave samrat a lesson for life, that urmi’s family is with her, and they havent forgotten her, after marriage. All are tensed.
Annu’s residence
Granny is tensed and angry that gaurav further aggravated the situation. others too reprimand him for his, but buaji favours gaurav, that he did the right thing. Saroj asks what happened there. gaurav says how he silenced samrat. gaurav again expresses her anger, and saroj says that this is the problem she is talking about. But devi and granny advise her otherwise saying that urmi is wrong in coming back eher, and that she shouldnt have left her home to come to her own home. Buaji is shocked. saroj asks what should she tell urmi that she should go back where she has been insulted. granny asks her that she shouldnt air this too, till the timke its beyond salvage.
Later, in the night, on the roof, Urmi apologises to trisha for mistaking her so deeply, remembering what all she hasd told her, and that when she had advised her against marrying samrat, she never heeded to her advise and instaed lashed back at her and insulted her. trisha is emotional and crying too along with her. urmi breaks down lamenting at the state that she has brought herself in, and how everything is over now. Trisha asks her to stop crying as that is what she had been trying to prevent the first time around. urmi cries describing the dreams that sdhe had conjured about their marital life, and what has happened and how deeply they got shattered.
the next morning, urmi tells everyone, that she cant spend her life with such a man and she has given it much thought, and wont go back. Granny advises her about it saying that marriage isnt a joke and its for eternity. urmi says that she also thought like this, but when life turns hell in such a relation, it cant be kept, and its better that she forgets it as a bad dream. She begins to cry again. all get tensed. granny doesnt understand her stance and says that any marriage is better than staying married in their own maternal home. urmi asks saroj if she would be by her side. Granny reminds her of the various promises made on the day of marriage. urmi says those promises were for a good life, not a life in hell, devoid of emotions and insult, and become lifeless finally. She says that there wont be any value to her opinion, her existence and her feelings. She says that she didnt sign up for such a relation. Granny tries to speak, but devi stops her. urmi cries in saroj’s arms.
Scene 2:
Location: Samrat’s and urmi’s residence
Samrat tells shashi that he’s going outside, and wont eat food. shashi silently agrees, while his father asks where is he going. he turns back and says that he is going to play holi with his friends. His father asks how can he be so unfazed. samrat rudely asks what should he do then, should he lament that urmi has gone, and that he wont stay back. His father says that even death wont bother him now. Samrat gets angry and asks him not to give dialogue, just like gaurav did in the morning. His father says that he did such a thing that all have to hear from everyone. samrat is angry that he is siding with gaurav. His father asks him to think about urmi, and how sad would she be right now, asd he prefectly maligned her first holi. samrat comes to him and says that he should keep his advise to himself, and let him go. shashi composes him and asks him to go. He tells shashi to give some advise to her husband. He leaves. His father is angry that the way he is hurting urmi, the lord would never forgive her. shashi doesnt bother.
The next morning, shashi gives her husband meds, and asks him not to worry. He again gets into a rant as to how samrat shoudl get back to his senses and get back the respect of this family, and with much adorement and by apologising to urmi. She asks him not to buckle, and let her do the talking. As samrat comes down, shashi asks if he is going. He rudely replies back. samrat instructs the servant to get the room in order. she exclaims that he must be having difficulty without urmi. He asks if she’s talking about herself. He is shocked when she suggests that they should go to get urmi. He asks her why do they even expect such things and tease her about it. She asks him to forgive and forget and get her back. But he firmly denies. his father tells him that he wont become small in front of urmi if he goes to get her. He taunts that he is missing her more, and that she would come back, and herself only, as her own family would send her back, by telling her that this is the rightful place. They are all tensed.
Meanwhile, in her house, Rashmi is tensed with the drama in the house. Shashi intentionally speaks out her name, indicating to samrat, that she’s on the phone. He gets alert. rashimi tells about urmi’s drama. rashmi asks if samrat would come. shashi says that urmi shouldnt be so angry and should understand that this is her relation and she has to salvage it, and should come back, before there’s no entry for her in their house. rashmi says that there are lots of people to advise her, including trisha. He gets alert, when shashi expresses her shock by mentioning the name out loud. Shashi talks to rashmi who informs her that she is getting much support from everyone and they all know what trisha would advise her. Shashi tells her to tell urmi and her parents that they should get back to their senses and do the right thing, as it would be too late otherwise if samrat gets really angry and doesnt allow her ever again in the house.
Scene 3:
Location: Annu’s residence
Trisha finds urmi sad and upset. she comes upto her, anbd says that she can understand what she is going through, but she has top face it with much strength and bravery, and that she shouldnt weaken herself so much, that life becomes a burden. she tells urmi that only she can undersdtand whats right or wrong for her. She asks her to understand it completely, and not have any doubt about anything and only then take a descision and not to ignore if she finds anything wrong. Trisha advises her that with a compromise, life becomes more of a hell. trisha tells her that if she isnt happy there, then she shouldnt spend a single day there, as she deserves her happiness and she has to always remember that. Urmi nods in compliance. urmi looks at her with crying eyes. trisha wipes her tears and asks for her leave. urmi denies and tells her not to. Trisha gets emotional and says that she would have to go. urmi still denies. Trisha says that she has to promise that she wont trouble herself or cry anymore. Urmi manages to say yes, and asks if she would visit soon. trisha complies, and says that she maynt be here, but would talk everyday on the phone and if she needs, would come to meet her too. they both hug each other tightly.
