Amma ji asks Ganga to seek Bal Mahant’s blessings but she refuses to touch his feet. He is so young. Amma ji reasons that he is elder to her. We respect elders. Ganga counters that you are elder to him. I did not like it when he spoke like that to you. Sudha asks her to do what they are saying. Don’t create any fuss. She pulls Ganga by force. Sagar is worried if Ganga makes any mistake before Mahant ji. Dadi will not forgive her ever. Ganga refuses to touch Mahant ji’’s feet as Sudha brings her in. Sagar steps in between. He praises Bal Mahant ji. He is so good looking. He has so much knowledge in this young age. Amma ji introduces him to Bal Mahant ji. Sagar asks him to bless him so he becomes a big man. Dadi says everything happens nicely if we seek blessings of good people. Ganga wonders why Sagar is buttering Bal Mahant so much. Why is he lying? Everyone’s attention gets diverted. Bal Mahant ji too moves forward for the bhoj. Amma ji asks Sagar how he came here. Sagar gives round about answers. Bal Mahant looks one more time at Ganga before exiting from there.
Madhvi asks Niru how he went today when he does not like restaurant food. He says that isn’t so. Right company matters. She was so excited. You are never free from household work. Madhvi thinks that he never even asked her about it.
Sagar comes to where Ganga is. This is your room! She nods. I had no idea you are such a great fan of Bal Mahant ji. He thinks that she did not understand him yet again or she would have understood why I did it. You wont understand. I am so hungry. No one asked me for food. He turns and finds her gone. Very bad! You don’t care about me at all. Ganga comes back with a bowl of kheer. I made it. He refuses to eat it so she keeps it on the bed before going out of the room. He picks up the bowl and begins to eat it. Ganga watches him from outside. He gobbles up on everything. It was so ymmy. Did she really make it? Ganga knocks at the door. Sagar keeps the bowl back. She says I came to take the bowl as you wont eat it. She notices the half empty ball. Maybe a cat ate it. He runs after her as he understands that she aimed that at him. She collides with Bal Mahant while running. Sagar stops at a distance.
Bal Mahant knows that she had no intention of touching his feet. Ganga says Bappa used to say that we should touch the feet of only elders and Gurus. You are neither of them. Why should I do it then? Bal Mahant says people become big not by their age, but by their karmas. Everyone calls me Gurucharan here. She outright refuses to call him so. You did not teach me anything so how can I accept you to be a Guru. How would I know how much you know? Bal Mahant’s sahyogi tries to stop her but Bal Mahant ji holds out his hand. You think you are too smart? Explain the meaning of this shloka. He says one shloka for her. Amma ji and Sagar think of the trouble that Ganga has called upon herself. Ganga has not read this one till now so she does not know about it. But I will accept it that you are worthy to be a Guru if you answer my question. She asks him the name of the first President after India gained Independence. Bal Mahant is all quiet. Sagar smirks. Ganga asks Mahant ji if he does not know the answer. He replies that that isn’t needed. Ganga smiles and her smile only irks him all the more. Sudha scolds Ganga. Stay in your limits. Sudha apologizes to Bal Mahant on Ganga’s behalf. All the ladies too say the same. What will this little girl know how knowledgeable you are? Please forgive her. Have food. Have mercy on us. The sahyogi signals Bal Mahant who goes inside. Amma ji warns Ganga to stay outside only.
Sagar tells Ganga to stay here only. He goes inside.
Amma ji talks to Sudha about Ganga. You used to question me what I have taught her till date. Now I ask you the same question. That girl should be kept away from Mahant ji. She might ruin everything. Sagar thinks that he wont be able to stop Ganga if she makes any other mistake now. How do I stop her?
Bal Mahant checks the plate. It isn’t clean. Ganga complains to Sagar about him. He is all complaining. Sagar is certain she will create another problem soon. Mamta brings another plate. Next, Bal Mahant refuses to drink water from the glass that has been kept before him. Ganga says he is intentionally troubling everyone. Which Mahant does so? Sagar asks for his birthday gift. Give it to me now. I want to see it. He takes her aside. Ganga tells him that that cannot be Mahant. He is a kid and is speaking so rudely to everyone.
Bal Mahant looks at the food. Will I be eating this? Pishi Ma says we would have made n number of dishes if it was in our hands. Amma ji sweetly requests him to have it as they have made it with love. Mahant refuses. I can see and understand the food quality.
Ganga complains that Mahant cannot complain about the food without even tasting it. why is he throwing so many tantrums? Sagar yet again asks for gift. She gives it to him. You are so nice. You know that I always look for socks. She wants to go out but he stops her. I have to see if they fit me or not. I don’t want it if you aren’t interested. She tells him to try them. Don’t be angry. They hear Mahant’s voice. He is talking negative about the food. It is not even tasty. Some of the puri’s are half cooked or black. Is this what you call bhoj? You will all be destroyed. Sagar stops Ganga from going out. She knows why he was stopping her from going out till now. Let me go out if you care for us. That kid is behaving very badly. Bappa used to say that one should not withstand bad things.
Mahant keeps blaming the food. He pushes the plate away saying that he does not want it! Ganga confronts him. You call yourself a Pandit and you don’t even know that one never insults the food kept before them! I added a lot of milk and boiled it for 3 hours. I have added so many things in it. Sudha Bua and all the ladies got it after so much hard word. You are throwing tantrums when everyone is respecting you. You are hurting them. Eat it all quietly! Everyone looks on shocked.
Barkha brings gifts for Niru and Madhvi. Niru checks out her shopping even when Madhvi tells Barkha that he is busy. Barkha has brought a red colour tshirt for Niru. Madhvi says he does not wear such clothes. Barkha keeps the tshirt on him and compliments him. You will look 10 years younger. Niru smiles but Madhvi looks uncomfortable.
Sahyogi calls it an insult to Bal Mahant ji. Mahant too says the same thing. The food was not at all edible. All the ladies try to stop him but Sahyogi stays put. Sagar mutters that he was right. Why she stays stubborn all the time! Ganga too tells him not to eat it. Those who have cooked it should eat it. They only will know its taste. They have toiled so hard and begged at people’s door. Poor people don’t even get one chapatti and you rejected so much food. Amma ji tells her to be quiet. Ganga reasons that she only says that food should be respected. This big Pandit is insulting food. Mahant’s group call it a big insult! Mahant starts walking out of the ashram. Sudha says sorry to him. Please give us some time. We will cook once again for you. Amma ji too says the same thing. That little girl knows nothing. Ganga questions them on why he insulted her AMma ji then. She is so elder to you. You spoke rudely to her, Pishi Ma and Sudha Bua. Is it not insult? He disrespected food. He is not even listening to others at this moment. This is also disrespect! Is this how you speak to your elders at home? Amma ji shouts her name. Her hand stops mid air. Everyone is taken aback. Mahant refuses to stay there for another second.
Barkha takes the letter from Pulkit’s hands. He gets it back from her. She asks him if it is love letter. He shares that it is Saloni’s letter. She had written it long ago. She offers to find out the address of Saloni’s hostel. Then you wont need it. I don’t like it when two love birds get separated. I will be glad if I can reunite someone. Madhvi comes there so Pulkit diverts the convo. Barkha sends Pulkit in his room on the pretext of studies. Madhvi teases Barkha. Was it really a story or something related to you? Barkha acts. Madhvi understands it that she is trying to divert the topic. What kind of a guy do you want? Barkha says he should be just like jijz (Niru). He should not be orthodox. He should be very modern, go with me on every adventure. He should be happy with me and vice versa. Madhvi says it only happens in films. Barkha is sure it can happen in real as she too has got such a guy. They share a hug.
Mahant curses the ladies. You were praying that your husbands’ get peace and heaven. It wont happen now. Their souls will be stuck in Mrityu Loka only. Do anything you want to but no good will come out of it! The ladies beg for mercy but the Mahant is firm on his words. He leaves with his disciples.
Amma ji blames Ganga for being a dark blot on women and widows. I have been saying since the beginning that this girl is a big problem. She has only destroyed everything. No one trusted me. You all should collectively decide her punishment now. I have cut my relation with her. Don’t come in front of my eyes again in this birth! Sagar sadly leaves with his Dadi.
Mamta breaks down. Everything is finished now. Amma ji sent her problem to us. This girl is inauspicious! She runs out. Pishi Ma and all the other ladies are sad too.
Amma ji returns home. She looks uspet. Barkha asks Sagar if something went wrong. Amma ji is upset with Ganga, right? Madhvi asks Amma ji if everything went smoothly. Amma ji says nothing can happen right till that girl is there. Meanwhile, Sagar runs upstairs. Amma ji tells Madhvi everything. Barkha too listens intently. Amma ji cannot think about anything else but that curse. It is haunting me. She is about to head to her room when she notices the food of piece on the floor. Barkha takes responsibility but but Amma ji scolds Madhvi. I don’t like it when outsiders speak in between. Why don’t you (Madhvi) explain things to your sister? Both these girls will not let me sit peacefully. Madhvi apologises to her on Barkha’s behalf. This won’t happen again. She is trying to learn our rules. Amma ji has no more patience for it. Barkha will have to do penance. She will have to keep fast from tomorrow. Barkha refuses but Madhvi says yes from Barkha’s side. Barkha still takes things lightly.
Sudha is crying. Pishi Ma comforts her. Ganga looks at her. Pishi Ma tells Sudha to calm down. We cannot change what has happened. This is our destiny. Mamta tells her clearly that Ganga cannot stay here anymore. She will have to leave! Sudha tells her not to do so. Where will this small girl go at this hour? Mamta stays put. Pishi Ma says we all know that Ganga did not do right. But we cannot send her out at this hour. Mamta does not want to think of her. Amma ji too spoke negative things about her. I don’t want to see her face anymore. I prayed day and night for my late husband’s soul’s peace but this girl got us cursed. It is better she leaves. She was with us when we were working hard to get that food for Mahant ji. A curse has fallen on us because of her. So much food is lying waste in our kitchen when we arrange things with hard luck. Other ladies also take Mamta’s side. She refuses to even hear Sudha. I don’t care where she goes at this hour! She leaves Ganga out of the ashram. Pishi Ma asks Mamta not to be so hard hearted. Ganga requests them all to make Mamta didi understand. I dint do anything wrong. That guy spoke so rudely and insulted everyone, including food. I am scared. Please open the door. Sudha cries helplessly.
Ganga is scared as she walks alone on the road. She sits down outside near a cot.
Next morning, Sudha calls out for Ganga. I cannot see her anywhere. Pishi Ma and Sudha get worried. Where can she go? Ganga walks in just then. Where will I go? She looks at all the food. No one ate anything? Mamta Didi too would not have eaten anything. It was my mistake but she could have atleast eaten it. I know it is my mistake so I did not say anything when she pushed me out of the ashram. Please call her. Sudha and Pishi Ma have not seen her. They ask Durga who shares that she went out with a few ladies to some place. A few ladies also went with her. Sudha is surprised.
Madhvi scolds Barkha for eating biscuit. Barkha is not at all interested in keeping a fast. I am not used to it. Amma ji questions her on the same. Can you not stay hungry for a day for penance? She scolds Madhvi as well. Now give her whatever she wants to eat! Madhvi reprimands Barkha but Niru takes her side. It is a compulsion. He is wearing the tshirt given by Barkha. Everyone should be free to decide what they want to do. Why force her when she does not want to do it? Barkha runs to give him a hug. Madhvi is taken aback. Amma ji mutters about the same as she prays. I only will do penance. Madhvi offers to do it. Niru asks Barkha to have breakfast. Your Di will not understand. Her outlook is still old even though she is of this modern age. Barkha is impressed by his thoughts. You are not at all orthodox or the kind of people who do not support women. Madhvi thinks of Barkha’s words about her dream man. Amma ji ask Madhvi if she got everything as per the list. I am going to temple to make arrangements for my husband’s shrad.
Mamta and a few other ladies are at Bal Mahant’s place. They apologize to him from Ganga’s side. Please don’t injustice to us because of one girl. Bal Mahant cannot take his words back. Mamta blames Ganga. How can we be responsible for it? She does not live in our ashram. She lives at Niranjan Chaturvedi’s House. Amma ji sent her to our ashram for a few days. Please don’t punish us. Sahyogi asks them about Amma ji. Who is she? Mamta says she is one who came to the ashram yesterday with her grandson. Ganga has been sent to their ashram by her.
