Rakhi slaps Sherlyn for falsely accusing Preeta and asks her to apologise to Preeta and her family. Prithvi frees himself and vows to marry Preeta. Rishabh notices some movements in Mahesh and in no time, calls the doctor home.

Mahesh gains consciousness for a while and reveals about Prithvi to Rishabh, who leaves for Preeta’s wedding venue to avenge Mahesh’s accident. Prithvi finds Janki spying on him. Prithvi locks Janki in a wardrobe.

Later, Prithvi executes his plan using his recruits. He manages to take Karan away from the ‘mandap’ and renders him unconscious. Rishabh meets with an accident and a man rushes him to the hospital. Rishabh thanks the man who helped him reach the hospital and takes help of the police officers to stop Preeta’s wedding. Meanwhile, Sameer is scared about Karan’s revelation.

Rishabh reveals to everybody that Prithvi is the man behind Mahesh’s accident. Sarla stands by Prithvi but the police officers arrest him. Sameer and Karan manage to free Raka and other recruits of Prithvi. Prithvi makes a phone call to Sherlyn but she denies to help him out of anger. Prithvi’s recruits somehow manage to capture Karan again.

Rishabh and Prithvi get into a scuffle, following which, the police officers throw Prithvi behind the bars. Preeta gets angry at Karan for not coming for her wedding. Kareena and Dadi visit the police station and Kareena blames Preeta for Mahesh’s condition, but Rishabh defends her.

Prithvi’s mother apologises to Sherlyn and begs her to help Prithvi, but she refuses. A fuming Karan strangles Prithvi to kill him.

Preeta requests the police to call Lucky, Prithvi’s designer, who can prove Prithvi’s innocence. Prithvi getting released from the jail pricks Rishabh and his family. An accident helps Rishabh take a firm decision of stopping Preeta from getting married to Prithvi.

Episode 78
Meanwhile, the priest suggests to perform the wedding rituals again. Karan replaces Prithvi on the wedding dais and suggests Sameer to go home An angry Rakhi vows to never forgive Preeta for her doings. Rishabh apologises to Sherlyn for never supporting her. Karan and Preeta complete their wedding rituals.

Prithvi arrives at the wedding dais and everybody is shocked seeing Karan behind the veil. Prithvi insists the priest to conduct the wedding rituals again but Karan stops him. On Sarla’s questioning, Karan tells her that he loves Preeta and professes the same to Preeta as well.

At the Luthra house, Dadi’s health takes a turn for the worse. Preeta accepts Karan as her husband and requests Prithvi to move on by accepting this truth. Prithvi and Karan get into a scuffle, and Sarla slaps Prithvi, who leaves the wedding venue after cursing everybody.

Preeta is left heartbroken on learning that Karan married her for his revenge. An intoxicated Prithvi arrives at the Sarla house to threaten everybody. Meanwhile, Preeta begs Karan to take her with him but he abandons her and leaves for home. Srishti asks Sameer to take care of Preeta while he is going to the Luthra house.

Preeta returns home and her arrival shocks the family. When Sarla tells her about Karan and Preeta’s wedding, Mahira feels heartbroken. Later, Sarla reveals how Karan betrayed Preeta. Sarla slaps Sherlyn for misbehaving with her.

Karan arrives at the Luthra house in an intoxicated state and his family asks him questions. Sarla blames herself for what happened with Preeta. An upset Rakhi rebukes Karan for his wrongdoings but it has no effect on him. Sarla tries to motivate a dejected Preeta. Kritika stops Mahira from talking to Karan about Preeta.

Janki and Preeta get attacked by some goons on their way to an interview. Later, they all get inside a hotel wherein Karan notices a gun in their bag. Renuka Sharma arrives at the hotel to interview Preeta. Prithvi notices Karan at the hotel and they get into an argument.

Episode 86
Later, the goons present in the hotel open fire and capture all the guests at the hotel. Prithvi reaches Preeta’s house. In her absence, he tells Sarla that he only wishes for Preeta to forget Karan completely. At the hotel, Preeta and Karan meet again.

Preeta reprimands Karan for putting his life at risk for her. At the hotel, Preeta gets caught by the attackers.

Sherlyn faces trouble while hiding with Prithvi in a changing room. The police arrive at the hotel, but everyone remain calm due to the threats. The police officer feels something is wrong and returns to the hotel for another patrol. Karan assaults an attacker for hitting Preeta. Kareena finds Sherlyn with Prithvi in a mall and questions her on reaching home.
