Shantanu and Asmita are able to find a place for themselves. Despite Shubhankar’s repeated attempts, Nandini does not get bail. When Nandini learns of Shantanu and Asmita living together, she decides to separate them. Shantanu and Asmita exchange vows and get married before Goddess Durga.

Nandini’s false accusation of Asmita assaulting her leads to Asmita’s suspension. Shantanu promises a devastated Asmita to make everything right. Shantanu threatens Nandini and Shubhankar with dire consequences if they hurt Asmita. Shantanu escapes from the police custody.

He arrives in time to rescue Asmita from getting shot by one of Nandini’s goons. They manage to exit the warehouse when the goon blasts it. Nandini implicates Shantanu for Shubhankar’s murder and he gets arrested. During Shubhankar’s last rites, Nandini confesses to her crimes before Asmita.

To save Shantanu from a death penalty, she puts forth a condition to Asmita. Asmita tries to prove that the allegations against Shantanu were false. During the lunch break, Nandini asks Asmita to take this last opportunity and accept her condition.

The judge refuses when Asmita pleads for more time and considers Shantanu to be guilty of the crime. To prove Shantanu innocent before the final verdict, Ridoy brings Asmita a crucial lead.

The judge announces Asmita verdict wherein she gives her a death penalty and acquits Shantanu. Nandini gets released on bail and comes home. Shantanu threatens Nandini at gunpoint, but she refuses to confess. Later, at the police station, a masked man abducts Asmita from jail.

Aditya arrives at the Majumdar house looking for Shantanu. Shantanu rushes Asmita to a nursing home when she faints. They are overjoyed at the news of Asmita’s pregnancy, but she asks Shantanu to let her surrender because she has already called the police. Aditya arrives and arrests her.

Nandini instructs someone to kill Asmita and her baby. In the market, one of Nandini’s men attempts to shoot Asmita but misses. To save Asmita and their child, Shantanu transfers his property in Nandini’s name.

Seven months later, when Shantanu takes Asmita to the hospital for her check-up, Asmita is astonished to see a pregnant Nandini. Asmita is under the assumption that Shantanu has betrayed her and leaves him. The Majumdars are shocked at the news of Nandini’s pregnancy. Later, Asmita meets with an accident.

Six years later, on ‘Janmashtami’ and her birthday, Krishi arrives at the temple. Asmita comes to Kolkata with Mr Shekhawat. Posing as Kanha, Krishi breaks the ‘Dahi Handi’. Shantanu and Nandini arrive with their daughter Chahat. Shantanu meets Asmita.

Shantanu comes across Krishi at the fair but is unable to see her face because of a mask. Shantanu’s family comes across Asmita and Mr Shekhawat. A few young men misbehave with Asmita but Mr Shekhawat teaches them a lesson. When Nivedita learns that Asmita has returned to Kolkata, she considers it to be a sign from Kanha.

Krishi’s father strikes a deal to sell her in Pari Mahal. Meanwhile, Asmita and Mr Shekhawat decide to leave Kolkata. Krishi’s father reveals the truth to Krishi that he is not her real father. Chahat tries to bully Krishi who ends up hiding in Shantanu’s car.

Meanwhile, Asmita tells Mr Shekhawat of her child being alive. They both arrive at Krishi’s house looking for her. Asmita spots Krishi dancing amidst the ‘Ganesh Chaturthi’ celebrations but she disappears in a blink of an eye.

Shantanu helps Asmita rescue Krishi but refuses to accept her as his daughter. Krishi’s father assures Nandini that he will kill Krishi. Nivedita decides to use Krishi as a pawn to get Mouni what is rightly hers.

Later, Nivedita shows the picture of her father to Krishi and tells the reason behind her parents’ separation. Krishi decides to reunite her parents. Mr Shekhawat assures a worried Asmita that he will not let Shantanu come to the party.

Krishi asks for Shantanu as her birthday gift from Asmita. Shantanu jumps into the lake and rescues Krishi. Nandini gets furious with Shantanu for saving Krishi’s life which in turn angers him.

Krishi warns Nandini that she will not rest until she reunites her parents. Nivedita motivates Krishi that she can unite her parents. Krishi throws away Shantanu’s liquor. She tries to bring Asmita and Shantanu together on the pretext of going to school.

Asmita reprimands Shantanu for not raising Chahat right. Shantanu slaps Nandini. To bring Shantanu closer to her, Nandini spikes his cupcake. The spiked cupcake begins affect both of them which leads Shantanu to express his love for Asmita. Shantanu and Asmita forget their differences and come close.

Nandini lights a fire to kill them which also puts Krishi’s life in danger. However, they manage to survive unharmed. To enrol Krishi, the Principal asks her to participate in the running race. Shantanu participates in the race with Asmita to help Krishi with her admission.

When they win, Mr Shekhawat gets furious on seeing them together. Krishi prays to Lord Krishna to rescue her. Nandini fears the consequences of her actions. Krishi loses the race, but her act of kindness wins everybody’s hearts.

Having won the challenge, Krishi assigns a task to Nandini. Asmita and Shantanu end up performing aarti together. After wishing Asmita on her birthday, Mr Shekhawat expresses his love for her. He also proposes her for marriage.

Krishi strongly believes that Asmita will never agree to marry Mr Shekhawat. Meanwhile, a furious Shantanu hurts himself. Asmita agrees to marry Mr Shekhawat. Krishi is left heart-broken at Asmita’s decision to marry Mr Shekhawat. During the engagement ceremony, Shantanu gets envious when he sees them dancing together.

However, Nivedita helps Krishi with an idea to stop the engagement ceremony. Nandini asks Krishi’s adoptive father Aashish to sell Krishi. Aashish arrives in the guise of a woman to abduct Krishi. Later, Shantanu prevents the chandelier from falling on Asmita. On going through the CCTV footage, Asmita learns that Aashish abducted Krishi.
