Purva Gets Drunk In College Union Party. Vedant And Purva Search for Rahul. Vedant realises that Purva may be kidnapped for ransom by a local gang. A distressed Purva wonders if Rahul is involved in her kidnapping. Vedant cleverly wheedles the truth out of the hotel manager, and successfully intercepts the kidnappers before they could take Purva away.

The police arrives at the right time and arrests the kidnappers, thus freeing Purva. When Purva wakes up, she finds the things along with the letter left by Vedant telling her to decide their relationship’s future. A stressed Vedant is advised to do right by his patient.

Upon Purva’s pestering, Vedant confesses the reason he left her the return train tickets. Ramesh locks the kitchen and declares that everyone will go hungry unless Purva accepts his demands. An agitated Ramesh tells Vedant that he will get Purva to apologise by hook or by crook.

In the hospital, Vedant is greeted by Pankhudi who informs him about her wish to intern with him. Meanwhile, Sanju, Ramesh’s biological son, has failed in his MBBS exam finals. Vedant promises him to help Sanju pass his exams in the next attempt. Later, Urmi witnesses the extent of love that Vedant holds for Purva.

An angry Purva tells Vedant that she will leave Sanjeevni Sadan if living there becomes unbearable for her. When Gomti, Ramesh’s sister, gets to know this, she decides to make Purva’s life difficult. As Purva’s toe rings are nowhere to be found, Vedant returns with a new pair for her. The non-veg kebabs bought by Purva in the Tripathis’ vegetarian household fall in the hands of Sumati, Vedant’s aunt.

Gomti and Ramesh scheme to keep the kebab vessel amongst the ritual’s provisions in order to oust Purva from the house. Purva decides to leave Sanjeevni Sadan. She apologises to Urmi and returns to her maternal house where she finds Shanti and Pankhudi in financial constraints.

When Purva is about to leave for her job’s night shift, Gomti and Ramesh create a huge fuss, but Vedant supports Purva in front of all. Urmi suggests Purva to start her catering business at the hospital. Vedant, who agrees with Urmi, allows Purva to open a food stall in the hospital canteen serving healthy snacks at subsidised rates. However, Ramesh disagrees.

While Vedant and Urmi are excited for Purva’s new professional beginnings, Gomti and Ramesh conspire to stop her from succeeding. An angry Vedant confronts Ramesh and asks him to apologise to Urmi for insulting her. Not knowing that she is adding baking powder instead of sugar, Purva supplies a cake for a birthday party, eating which the kids fall sick.

The situation escalates to the point where the police get involved, much to Ramesh’s delight. On learning that someone has switched the labels of the cooking supplies to malign Purva, Vedant promises Urmi to get her out of jail. Vedant cleverly initiates his plan and gets Sumati to reveal that Gomti changed the labels of the jars. Feeling cornered, Gomti lays the blame on Ramesh’s head as she fears being sent to jail.

Disturbed with the recent upheavals, Purva asks Vedant to divorce her. In an altercation with Ramesh, Vedant reveals that Purva was released on the condition to shut Baked Bhojan. Disturbed with this news, Purva returns to her maternal house and declares her inability to love Vedant, and overhearing this, Vedant leaves.

Sanju becomes aware of Pankhudi’s affection towards Vedant. To get in Pankhudi’s good graces, Sanju warns her about the impending danger on Purva’s life. During the games session, Purva goes to connect the electrical wires, but Pankhudi interrupts her and gets electrocuted instead. Pankhudi’s affection for Vedant takes the form of possessiveness.

Gomti tells Urmi about her lover, Pritam, and expresses her desire to marry him. Gomti and Ramesh create another scene regarding Purva’s new job and designated uniform. In the hospital, Vedant delivers the child of a raped woman. Pritam and his mom act as per Ramesh’s instructions.

Vedant assures that he will manage to get Gomti married without Purva leaving. He tries to convince Pritam who does not relent. Ramesh learns that Pritam is a duplicitous man who has trapped Gomti. Pritam also confesses Ramesh’s schemes against Purva. While Pritam gets arrested, Vedant threatens to disclose the truth of Ramesh’s and Pritam’s deceit to all if he doesn’t abide by some of his conditions.

To honour Urmi and Vedant, Purva keeps the fast and also prepares ‘kheer’, a milk-based sweet dish. She foils Gomti’s plan of putting salt in the ‘kheer’.
