Made For Each Other starring “Anurag Basu and Prerna Sharma” are two individuals meant to fall in love yet forced to go through several trials of life to be together.

Anurag and Prerna study in the same university. With time, they start conversing and slowly form a bond of trust and friendship. Slowly, Prerna realises that she has fallen in love with Anurag.

Amidst this, Komolika Chaubey makes her entry. She is arrogant and attracts male attention wherever she goes, constantly misusing her dad’s political power to get what she wants. Eventually, Anurag realises his love for Prerna. Meanwhile, Komolika starts getting interested in Anurag.

Anurag and Prerna confess their feelings to each other. They perform a marriage ritual, promising to marry each other and consummate their relationship. Seeing Prerna and Anurag plan a future together, Komolika decides to create misunderstandings between them. She asks Anurag to marry her in order to save Prerna’s house. Compelled, Anurag agrees. Prerna is left shocked. She gets hit by a car and is taken to the hospital where the doctor reveals that she is pregnant.

Rebellious, Prerna enters the Basu house claiming to be Anurag’s wife. Prerna successfully exposes Komolika and gets her arrested. Komolika escapes and comes back to kill Prerna but instead falls down from the terrace and goes missing. Prerna and Anurag reunite and get engaged.

Meanwhile, Rishabh Bajaj enters. He is a ruthless businessman who enjoys destroying and taking over businesses. He falsely frames Anurag and gets him jailed. Further, Bajaj asks Prerna to marry him in exchange of Anurag’s freedom. Helpless, Prerna decides to marry Bajaj to save Anurag and his family. Anurag is freed and Prerna marries Bajaj. Heartbroken and devastated, Anurag questions Prerna but she lies to him hoping he moves on from her. Bajaj reveals to Prerna that he married her for his daughter Cookie who shares a beautiful bond with Prerna.

Bajaj starts falling for Prerna. Knowing that Prerna loves Anurag, Bajaj tries to kill him. Kukki ends up getting hurt while trying to stop Bajaj. Guilty, Bajaj steps back. Anurag and Prerna unite.

Vengeful, Komolika makes a comeback. Prerna reveals her pregnancy to Anurag and the two rejoice as they get ready to marry. Komolika causes Anurag’s accident.

One month later

Anurag loses his memory. Komolika fakes an identity and misuses the opportunity to make Anurag and the Basu’s believe that they got married. Prerna discovers Komolika’s identity and decides to expose her but chooses to refrain in fear of affecting Anurag’s brain and memory. Komolika tries to kill Prerna and her child multiple times but fails every time.

Prerna gives birth to Sneha, Anurag regains his memory. Komolika threatens to frame Prerna for murder by leaking footage of her pushing Viraj off the cliff. She asks Anurag to pretend to push her off the bridge. Bajaj, who still has feelings for Prerna, recommends Anurag to follow the plan, hoping to keep the two away. When Anurag refuses, Komolika states how he has the choice to save Prerna from murder charges and life long jail, if only he pretends to betray her. Helpless, Anurag asks Bajaj to promise to save and take care of Prerna. He pushes Prerna off a bridge, but as per the plan, she is rescued by Bajaj. Komolika abandons Sneha in an orphanage and bribes a worker to burn it down. Reeling from heartbreak and shock, Prerna reaches the orphanage and is devastated to see it on fire. Broken beyond belief, Prerna moves to London.

Eight years later

Prerna is a successful businesswoman in London while Anurag’s business thrives in Kolkata. Prerna maintains a formal relation with Bajaj, detesting Anurag for his betrayal. Anurag hates Komolika and lives in constant guilt. Komolika has taken over the Basu house. Nivedita and Anupam live separately. Prerna leaves for Kolkata to seek revenge. Kaushik and Kukki meet and start off by disliking each other, constantly bickering every time.

Prerna and Anurag meet Samidha, an orphan, and feel a strong connection to her, unaware that she is Sneha. Kukki and Kaushik fall in love. Anupam returns. Anurag and Prerna find out that Samidha is Sneha. Eventually, Kukki and Kaushik confess their feelings. Anurag breaks ties with Komolika, reveals the truth to Prerna and shows her the proofs he collected. He explains how he tried to constantly contact her, but was isolated from any contact to her by Bajaj. The two reunite, reminiscing the time they lost, the pain they faced and get married. Enraged, Komolika stabs Prerna but ends up wounding Bajaj, as he tries to save Prerna. Bajaj stabs Komolika in return, and kills her. Before dying, Bajaj apologizes to Prerna and Anurag for being selfish and separating them. Later, Anurag and Prerna live happily with Sneha.

Prerna rejects Anurag’s proposal!

In the ongoing track, we see that Prerna and Mr. Bajaj are living happily with Mr. Bajaj’s daughter Cookie aka Sneha and Anurag is fuming with anger seeing this. In the previous episode we see that Anurag warns Mr. Bajaj to vacate the house and reveals that he has taken everything away from him. Surprisingly, Prerna feels bad for Mr. Bajaj.

Now we will see that Prerna begs in front of Anurag to rethink his decision, she will also call Nivedita to make Anurag understand about the situation but doesn’t succeed. Hence, she visits Basu mansion to to request Anurag to stop the eviction. But, shockingly Anurag proposes Prerna to leave Mr. Bajaj and his family and come to him and she rejects his proposal. Prerna says that she is now married to Mr. Bajaj and belongs to his family now, which leaves Anurag even more shattered.

Now, it will be interesting to see how Anurag and Prerna will settle down their differences.
