August 24 Episode
One of the students of the school held at Sharma Niwas gives a letter to Indira. He adds that a stranger had given him the letter and asked him to hand it over to Indira. The letter read that it was the last warning to Indira to pay the ransom or see Rishi dead. Inder gets worried and expresses concern for Indira and Rishi. He decides to pay the ransom to get Rishi freed. Meanwhile Inspector Sumer, who is posing at a school teacher Piramal, overhears their conversation. Sumer overhears that Inder had decided to sell Sharma Niwas as he wanted to arrange the ransom. He begins to doubt Inder’s intentions and believes that he had a hand in Rishi’s kidnapping. Indira refuses to sell the house as she fears that they may lose shelter. Inder tries to convince Indira and threatens her that Rishi may get killed, if she refused to pay the ransom. Indira believes that Inder was concerned about her and signs on the property documents as the power of attorney for Sharma Niwas was with her. When Inder leaves from Sharma Niwas to handover the property documents to a builder, Sumer follows him. It is revealed that Inder had betrayed Indira and taken her signatures on a blank paper along with the property documents. It is Inder and Jhumpa’s plan to take over the property. The couple goes to a typist and orders him to prepare documents which read that Indira had transferred the property on Inder’s name. Sumer gets shocked on learning about Inder and Jhumpa’s plan. He believes that the couple had abducted Rishi. Sumer determines to search for Rishi as soon as possible. Indira is left wondering when Sumer states that he would reunite her and Rishi within a week. She further gets astonished when Sumer shares his doubts regarding Inder. He narrates Inder and Jhumpa’s plan to Indira.
