Anupama tells Anuj that today a mother Anupama took over a student Anupama. She says Gurumaa is not picking her call as she must be angry on her, Nakul must be busy canceling the USA shows, she can’t face Gurumaa, sometimes they need to take instant decisions between heart and brain and she chose chose her heart. She continues justifying that this mother returned for her bebli CA and Maaya; she will handle handle her Bebli, but how will she explain gurumaa. Power goes off. Nakul calls voice messages Gurumaa asking if she is fine, why she is not picking his call, Anupama must have reached Ahmedabad for now, please call him and speak. Gurumaa says guru/teacher’s blessings have a superior place and curse even superior than that.
Shahs worry seeing untimely power cut. Leeela says it looks like there would be a storm coming. Anupama with Anuj walks down and asks about CA. Pakhi says she is sleeping and maid is with her. Vanraj tells Anupama that they are worried for her and asks how did she return. Kinjal says they will leave from there if she doesn’t want to tell. Kavya says she can take some time to think. Anupama says she knows they all want to know and has right to know and starts her story. Gurumaa walks in. Anupama falls on her feet and says she knows whatever she did is unforgivable and she is ready to accept Gurumaa’s punishment. She notices gurumaa’s blooded-stained footsteps. Gurumaa hugs Anupama and then gives her a tight slap. Everyone are shocked to see that. Anuj asks Gurumaa how dare she is to slap his wife, its wrong. Anupama stops him.
Gurumaa tells Anupama that she is no more her guru/teacher nor maa/mother, so she lost her right to call her gurumaa. She says Anupama was her favorite student and hence she let her touch her feet and showered her last drops of love towards her, her slap proved that there is no more love left for her and now she will see her wrath. Anuj, Vanraj, and Leela confront Gurumaa for slapping Anupama. Anupama asks them not to interfere as it’s between her and her guru. She tells gurumaa that she deserves more than a slap and requests her to let her explain once as she can’t see pain in her eyes. Gurumaa asks why did she betray her. Anupama starts her 20000-page lecture on motherhood and says she is a mother in every form; it’s true that gurumaa’s student is wrong, but a mother is not wrong; her student is in guilt, but a mother is proud of herself; gurumaa supported her when she had lost hope and gave her an opportunity, but she betrayed gurumaa, etc.., etc. She says even there is a mother in gurumaa as she has seen it, etc., she returned for her daughter, etc…
