Vaidika strictly tells Sahil that they can’t lend the room to a bachelor like Sahil. Nani says he has paid the rent of three months with deposit. Vaidika returns his money and asks him to go.

Sahil mocks a cry and turns to leave emotionally and asks if she would be able to sleep peacefully if a homeless like him has to stay on roads. Vaidika says poor guys never go to meet girls in hotels. Sahil asks if Vaidika is jealous that he had gone to meet another girl. Vaidika announces they won’t lend the room to a bachelor at any cost. Sahil lies that he has a beautiful wife already and isn’t a bachelor. He tells Vaidika he went to meet the girl for his brother.
Bari Amma asks Anjana why she is cooking Sahil’s favorite food. Anjana says he must have been hungry all night.
Bari Amma tells her to go and clarify to Sahil that he can’t enter the house until he agrees on her conditions. Anjana says even Bari Amma is tensed because of Sahil, and she is aware she didn’t sleep all night.
Vaidika had caught Sahil’s lie. Nani tries to convince her. Vaidika asks about her name. Sahil shows them a photo proposing Nidhi. Vaidika says he is the son of Agarwal jewelers. Sahil says his mother is an angry lady, they had an argument so he left home. Nidhi is at her parents; and was ready to call her for a proof. Vaidika holds his hand and tells him to bring his wife here, else it’s a no. Nani takes Vaidika to kitchen.
Deepak asks Bari Amma why she has gathered them all here. Bari Amma says she understands Sahil well and feels someone in the house must be helping him. She has now decided to cut their pocket money to half now; as they have been sensibly helping Sahil outside the house. Now, they won’t be able to give him anything. Everyone take their envelopes of pocket money. Anjana says she might not be able to run the house in half of money. Bari Amma tells her to use the money she hides in box of biscuit. She allowed anyone in the house may further ruin Sahil by helping him but clarifies to the family that whoever helps Sahil will have no connection with the family anymore.
In the kitchen, Vaidika and Nani argued about keeping Sahil at home or not. Sahil comes to ask their permission for using the washroom. Nani allows him with a smile. Sunil comes to the house then.
Deepak and Gauri were doing yoga together. He was furious over Bari Amma and says Pandit told them to conduct a pooja for son as well. Gauri says they can keep the pooja next month. Deepak asks why not six months, she will get an excuse for not bearing a son. Gauri asks why he hates daughters so much, they have left their daughter Riya to her grandparents for the last two years already. Deepak complains that they had married him to a divorcee who isn’t able to give him a son as well. He warns to leave her if his wish isn’t fulfilled.
Vaidika brings Sunil 50 thousand worth installment of the house. Sunil has an argument with Nani and warns to sale the house if his money isn’t paid. Vaidika calms both down and asks Sunil to keep his voice lower, conscious of Sahil’s presence. Sahil heard the argument from washroom. Later, he watches Vaidika call Aarya and decides to know this lady more closely.
In the evening, Sahil stood in the yard when Vaidika returns his money and says he must come with his wife if he needs the room. Panday bribes some boys to ring the bell of Vaidika’s house to tease her. Vaidika opens the door and tells Nani these are a few spare men who are good to nothing. Panday now rings the bell himself, he taunts if she had to keep her as a tenant why reject his cousin? He gathers a few men from neighborhood as well. Vaidika counters he shouldn’t be concerned with whatever happens in her house. Sahil was furious over Vaidika’s disgrace. He comes between Vaidika and Panday and asks if any problem?
Vaidika finally hands the keys to Sahil, allowing him to stay. At night she hands him a booklet with rules for the tenant.
The next morning, Vaidika was talking to Maya on call and knocks the door for Aarya. It was Sahil inside with his headphones on. Maya had reached home. Vaidika was knocking the door when Sahil opens it and fells over him, then turns around. Vaidika was angry at Sahil for spending much time in the washroom; he must have read the rules book. Sahil tells her that water tank also emptied adding to Vaidika’s worry. She tells Maya to go to school, she will be late today. Sahil thinks for a while, then goes out to get two buckets filled with water. At home, Aarya meets Sahil in a cheerful introduction.
Bari Amma sense that Anjana was helping Sahil monetarily. She
offers Sahil’s sister a bribe to get her a proof against anyone helping Sahil.
Panday ji and others taunt Vaidika on the way. Maya replies to them, but Vaidika drags her home and says she can’t counter everyone in the streets. The right way to live confidently is to ignore people like Panday. Aarya returns home and complains that Vaidika didn’t buy her new dress for party in school tomorrow. Vaidika was upset that Aarya will complain with her only as she is the single parent. Sahil watched this from upstairs and gets emotional over Vaidika’s selflessness.
At night, Vaidika was stitching for Aarya. He helps her by pouring torch light at the needle then holding the cloth for her to cut. He asks why she is afraid of her brother in law, she must fight for her right. Vaidika says there are two ways to spend a life; by running away from the problem or by facing it; but Sahil is immature and won’t understand. She asks Sahil about his wife, he lies that she was unwell so her mother stopped her for another day. He hands her some accessories to be placed on dress before leaving.
The next morning, Aarya comes cheerful and thanks Vaidika for the new dress. Sahil also complements the dress. Aarya goes to change. Sahil asks Vaidika why she never chose her talent to earn money, she could be a good designer. Vaidika gives him a cup of tea. Sahil says he met Vaidika because they had to. Vaidika ignores it and comes out of the kitchen but slips. Sahil comes to support her at once. He looks into the eyes saying she is the elder, but he has to support her. Sunil and Panday enter the house then, Panday showing Sunil what Vaidika is upto.
Sahil pushes Panday out of the house and leaves Sunil to speak to Vaidika. Sunil says he doesn’t care what Vaidika does to her life. He is only concerned by his share of money as he needs them for tillak.
Anjana assures Sahil that she has kept everything, she tells him she couldn’t arrange about money as Bhabi ji cut short her pocket money. Her daughter hears Anjana and decides to tell Bari Amma that its their mother who is helping Sahil.
Sahil was at his friend’s house not ready to go back on Bari Amma’s conditions. Nidhi comes there saying even she doesn’t want to marry him. She had brought a bundle of money and hands it to the friend. Sahil takes the bundle of money, and tells Nidhi they will always be friend. How she even considered marrying him? Nidhi says she will see who he gets to marry.
At home, Vaidika was arranging to set a clothes exhibition as an attempt to get the money. Nani says this must not be Vaidika’s idea. Vaidika says it’s someone else’s brain-child.
Nidhi asks Sahil why he denied marrying her. What’s that he couldn’t find in her? Sahil enlists Vaidika’s qualities and smiles thinking about her as they enjoyed beer with each other.
It was night. Vaidika and everyone was preparing for the exhibition. Aarya and Nani had fallen asleep in the yard.
The next morning, Sahil was asleep in his friend’s place. His friend wakes him up and pushes his out of the house before his mother arrives.
